It was a new day and we were all currently in class Dr. Crowler was teaching and had asked Alexis to explain the different types of cards of Duel Monsters as she stood up to answer the question.
Alexis: Duel Monster cards can be grouped into Normal Monster Cards, Fusion Monster Cards, Ritual Monster Cards, Effect Monster Cards, Trap Cards and Spell Cards. Trap Cards can be divided into Normal Traps, Counter Traps and Continuous Traps. Spell Cards can be separated into Normal Spells, Continuous Spells, Equip Spells, Quick-Play Spells, Ritual Spells and Field Spells.
Dr. Crowler: Perfect well done Alexis of course I wouldn't expect anything less from one of my Blue Obelisks.
Alexis: Yes Dr. Crowler. She would sit back down in her seat.
Dr. Crowler: Hmm now who should we question next, you Syrus Truesdale!
Syrus would stand up nervously.
Dr. Crowler: Explain to the class what a field spell is please.
Syrus: Um a field spell is it's the thing that effects the thing that is uh.
Random Blue Student: Even Pre-duelers know the answer to this you Slifer slacker.
Some Blue students in the back start to laugh.
Y/N: You find it funny but little do you know one of your best duelists lost a duel last night to a so called Slifer slacker so I wouldn't be laughing if I were you.
Darkest Diabolos: Don't let them get to you Y/N they aren't worth your time.
Y/N: I know but it's clear that Syrus is under pressure and them laughing isn't making things any easier.
Syrus: No I know it's uh...
An akwerd silence fills the room as everyone waits.
Jaden: Relax Sy you totally got this.
Dr. Crowler: I think not sit down, Now would someone please give me the answer preferably someone not wearing red.
Most of the Obelisk Blues would laugh at that.
Syrus: I blew it I made all the Slifers look bad.
You let your anger boil over a bit and decide to give Dr. Crowler an answer even he couldn't deny as you stand up and smack the desk Infront of you with your hand.
Y/N: A field spell card can effect the dueling field in different ways depending on the card. Take Jaden's Skyscraper card it can boost the attack of an Elemental Hero monster by 1000 if it battles a monster with higher attack, Or my Lair of Darkness which changes the attribute of every monster on the field to Dark, or a more personal example Dr. Crowler would be your Ancient Gear monsters and the field spell Geartown which not only lowers the number of tributes need to summon a higher level ancient gear monster to just one tribute but upon it's destruction allows you to special summon an Ancient Gear from your Hand, Graveyard or Deck!
Everyone was a little caught off guard by your out burst as you look back up to where the blue students were sitting.
Y/N: Now would anyone up there in Blue have been able to give a better answer than that!
Nobody answers.
Y/N: I didn't think so!
You would turn back and sit back down in your seat as your duel spirits were doing their best to calm you down.
Dr. Crowler: U-um thank you for your answer Mr. (L/N) it was very in depth. Now moving on.
Dr. Crowler quickly tried changing the subject knowing that letting this go on any further might make things even more tense.
Jaden: You know something teach you really shouldn't go and make fun of us Slifers like that, I mean I'm a Slifer and (F/N) is a Slfier by choice and we beat ya, so when you make fun of us your really making fun of yourself.
Jaden would look around and do a peace sign towards everyone in Slifer red as Dr. Crowler would bite on his handkerchief.
Dr. Crowler: That's it I will not tolerate this slacker at my school for another second I'll see to it he's taken down.
A short while later we'd switch classes being taught by Professor Banner.
