"[Y/N]!" a voice called from the sea of people crowding the train. Said girl turned her head in the direction her name came from, and spotted her two friends waving their arms, trying to get through the families.

"Aliyah! Isaac!" she called to them as a smile grew on her face.

When the pair reached their friend, Aliyah threw her arms around her, hugging her tightly. [y/n] wrapped her arms around the girl too as they stumbled about, trying not to fall over. Isaac turned to the male standing behind his friends, "Hello, Mr Starling." he greeted, smiling at the man. "Alright, Isaac?" Elijah said to the boy, who nodded.

Letting go of the [h/c]-haired girl, Aliyah took a step backwards and greeted [y/n]'s father too.

A loud scream-like sound echoed throughout the platform, signalling that the train was getting ready to depart. "You lot best get on, there won't be many empty compartments left otherwise." Elijah told the trio, smiling down at them.

Turning around, [y/n] embraced her father tightly. "Be careful of Sirius Black, alright [y/n]?" her father said. Nodding against his chest, she whispered, "Yes father." The green-eyed man smiled down at his daughter, but there was a deep sadness hidden behind it. "Good, have a good year── and remember to owl me whenever you can!" He shouted the last part of the sentence as the girl ran off with her friends, kneazle carrier and luggage in hand.
