Part 2

When Meera woke up again ,it was afternoon.lazily she walked to her washroom to do her business.
Switched on the FM on her bluetooth speaker.tuned it to a random radio station and walked into the kitchen.
Though she was not in the mood to cook anything but neither could she afford to order a takeout now

Sighhhh...life was being too harsh on her. But life is unfair and we all have to deal with it.
Making a meal of simple toast and omelette she went to sit out in the varandah with a bottle of packaged orange juice.
Eating her food and listening to the radio,she started pondering over what to do next.
Suddenly the radio announcer said something about a temple on the outskirts area of Goa Maharashtra border,situated on a hill where you need to trek to reach there.
It was being declared as the UNESCO world heritage.
The Devi temple is famous for fulfilling everyone's deepest desires.
Listening to this Meera scoffed and spoke out loud while looking at the portrait of ambe ma kept in her alter.
"As if you are waiting for me to come there and tell you what I want and you will just give it to me."
"Yes!!" Said the announcer that it will fulfill all your wishes.
Meera found it really odd.
But than she thought to her self,though she was angey with mataji as she had put her through lots of trials and tribulations and was still testing her but had not blessed her with anything.
On the other hand she used to follow fasts,visit the temple religiously.
Treat everyone well,used to be kind to others.and what did she get in return?
A cold omlette with stale bread and NO JOB.
And her heart broke into millions of pieces which she no longer wanted to gather as well.
She was brought out of her  reverie due to a statement made by the announcer.
According to the local legend if a devotee gave a brahma kamal to the deity in the temple on the shuklapakshe ashtami tithi in the month of shravan.all their wishes would be fulfilled.
This made Meera think while looking at the bud of brahmakamal on the potted plant in her veranda.and what a coincidence was it that the ashtami tithi was after 3 days,which she realised after checking the panchang app.
Was this a sign for her?
Will she get her answers if she did this silly ritual?
What was she to loose anyways.
At least she could go there fight with mataji and come back.
She was desperate for a ray of hope and  probably this is what she needed.
So just like that on a whimp she decided to trek to that temple.
Suddenly she was feeling excited as this was the first time in her life that she was doing something on just a whim.
She didn't wanted to think more about it as she might chicken out.
She will just go with the flow and see what will happen..
Here the deity smiled to herself as the first part of her plan was set into motion and till now was on track.
Once her Meera reaches her she will see what is to be done next.
