IT was an ordinary Wednesday morning.

The middle of the week.

A day of the week where people share a love and hate feelings with.

At around 6 AM, when people are either still sleeping or getting ready to leave—might be for work or school—a teenage girl was laying on the tiled floor of what seems to be a studio type apartment, a pool of blood scattered around her body and the floor.

Her clothes, which seems to be a school uniform, were torn in some parts with blood spewing out from her body.

She had been staying like that for around 49-50 hours now, however, it doesn't seem like anyone would find her very soon.

Her heart had stopped. She was not breathing anymore.

Her surrounding was such a big mess. Clothes, valuables, groceries and all her stuff were scattered around the room.

Just one look at the scene and you would know that a big fight or struggle happened there.

Suddenly, the teenage girl's fingers flinched. Her closed eyes shivered and without any warning, it suddenly opened and a big breath came out of her mouth.

"HELIANIE Veron?" An old teacher, wearing a reading glasses called out inside a classroom.

"Present!" An 18 year old girl answered as she raised her left hand.

The teacher then continued to call out the names of the other students as she lowers her head and look into nothingness.

The class started after confirming the students attendance. Helianie, however, continued to stare into nothingness until the class finishes.

She's good at acting as if she's listening to the lessons. Sometimes nodding like she understands or stares into the book as if reading, so she was never caught even once.

And even if she does get caugt, it's not like she cares.

When the bell rang for recess, she just continued to stare nowhere and never cared to any students buzzing around her.

However, a certain conversation caught her ears.

Three teenage girls were gathered around eating their snacks while chatting. Two of them were sitting on their table, their feet on the chair, while the last one was sitting correctly on her own chair.

"They found another corpse in the plaza yesterday!"

One of the girls sitting on the table said as she took a bite on her chocolate biscuit. She has short brown hair that reaches up to her shoulders, her bangs covering her almost 5 inches forehead.

"Yeah, I saw the post about it. They said it was suicide again," the girl sitting on her chair said in a gossiping tone while fixing her glasses.

"Oh God! Why are there so many people committing suicide nowadays?" The girl with the ponytail questioned as she chewed on her burger.

Helianie's eyes scowled as she focuses her ears on the conversation. However, a few moments later, her lips that had seemed to go numb from staying still for hours suddenly curved upwards.

"I heard a rumour on the internet that it wasn't a suicide, but a murder," she pointed out as she turns her head to the three.

Helianie decided to butt in on the conversation. Her face remains indifferent like she's just spewing common knowledge.

Not just the three girls, but also some students who heard what she said turned their heads towards her.

Adding to the fact that Helianie seems to always have her own world and always stares into nothing, her sudden words attracted a lot of attention.
