Chapter 2: A Pretty Decent Start

I woke up to my alarm. Goodness, I hate those things so much, I groaned an reached for the snooze button. I clicked it and got out of bed, still very sleepy, I trudged to my closet and got ready for the day, choosing to wear a baggy grey sweater,a pair of jeans, and some rubber-toed sneakers as my outfit. After that, I walked out of my room, still rubbing my eyes, only to be hit in the face by the scent of waffles, probably the only I want to be hit in the face with. I followed my nose down to the kitchen, Where Aunt Jaune, Uncle Ace and Ross were eating breakfast. Uncle Ace noticed I was there. "Mornin' Sleepyhead" "*Yawn* Morning Uncle Ace." I got my food, sat down, and started eating. "Y/N," Aunt Jaune looked at me, so I responded. "Yeah?"
"Are you excited for school today?" I remembered..I get to go to a new school today!"Oh..uh i mean, Yeah! I'm stoked."

Me and Ross brushed our teeth, got our school bags, and started walking to school.
I looked back at the house, Aunt Jaune and Uncle Ace were in the door way.
"Bye kids! Have a good day!!"
I smiled, I yelled back: "You too! Bye!!!".

Just before the two got to the school gates, they heard a voice beside them "OI!! ROSS!!!" Y/N looked, and Ross was running towards someone. He was running towards two boys, one was short, had Auburn hair, and wore a blue baseball cap, and the other was tall, had curly blonde hair, and wore a backwards green hat. The three started talking when the one with blonde hair noticed Y/N, "Who's the girl?" Both Ross and the shortie turned around to look at Y/N. "Oh, that's Y/N, my Cousin. She came to live with me yesterday." Y/N heard her name, so she looked at them and waved. The Blondie smiled, "She looks.... polite."

(Third person pov again)

Y/N had arrived at school. I she took a deep breath, and walked through the gates. Holy Smokes! It was a Beautiful place to be! It had flowers in the trees, the fountain was overgrown with pretty little green plants, And there was a garden in the side of the school! Y/N smiled to herself, giving a sigh of relief. "Maybe this day won't be so bad." As the young schoolgirl walked through the corridor, she found her way to the front office of the school, so she could get her schedule.
She took a deep breath. "Um... Hi?" The receptionist lady looked up at Y/N and Smiled. "Hello, Dear! How may I help you?" Y/N looked around. Dang, the office was BIG. "Uhm- I need to get my schedule." Y/N smiled back, the Receptionist lady nodded, "Of course, dear! What's your name?" The Receptionist Lady knew it must've been stressful with the new school and all that, so she made sure to make Y/N feel comfortable with her surroundings. "Uhm... I'm Y/N L/N." The Receptionist Lady smiled, handing Y/N and sheet of white paper, That was Y/N's schedule. "Thank you." Y/N smiled, she was grateful that the Receptionist Lady was being so nice to her. She walked out of the office and checked her schedule, "Okay...I have English class (homeroom) in a few minutes.. so I'll need to find my locker.." Y/N examined the paper closely, seeing if there was any trace on what locker she was supposed to have, luckily, there was! :D
"Ok... Locker #___.... Hmmm..." Y/N was talking to herself while looking for her locker, She stopped in front of a S/C (school color) locker numbered "#___" Y/N Smiled, "There it is." She put in her code and put her backpack in her locker, she closed it, and walked to her class.
