3. Chapter

It was the next day, today was the day I was going to move out and live with the Doodlebops. I was home packing all my stuff. I was so excited but at the same time really nervous. Was this really a good idea... ugh I hope I won't mess things up. Maybe I should just stop thinking so negative. It's probably gonna be so much fun you know, I'll get to live with my best friends! And I'll be joining a band! Plus I get to see my crush 24/7. Isn't that a dream like come on.

Me and my dad were on our way to the Doodlebops. I was reading the list in my hand that had all the stuff noted that I needed and shouldn't forget. I went trough all of it again and made sure I had everything with me. "And here we are." my dad stops the car. "Oh well, guess it's time to say goodbye then." "Dad come on, you'll be able to see me every time you have to pick us up. And that's almost every day. You don't have to be sad." "I know I know, I guess you're right." I laugh and give my dad a big hug. "Alright see ya dad." "Bye y/n, take good care of yourself" "Yeah dad I will!" and with that I take my stuff and walk away from the bus.

I came to the door and rang on the bell. I was waiting outside with my baggages next to me. Did I bring to much stuff, ugh I dont know. I think it's better than bringing less. After all I will be staying here for a long time. "Hey y/n!" The door opens all of a sudden and I get startled. All three of them open the door for me. They had a huge smile on their faces and looked very excited. "Hey guys!" "Hey come in!" DeeDee says, I walk in and the two boys grab my stuff and put them inside. "Agh thank you guys, you didn't have to do that really." "It's okay y/n, it's your first day here, we want you to feel at home." Rooney says and I smile at him as a thank you. "Okay okay, come on I want to show you you're room!" Deedee grabs my hand ready to go upstairs. "No wait Dee what about the cookies we made, they're going to burn!" Rooney stops us. "Oh no! I forgot about them, Moe can you please show y/n her room." "Yeah sure." Moe looks at me. Omg, why am I so nervous again. Y/n put yourself together, he's just going to show you you're room, you need to chill. "Uh well follow me." Me and Moe walk upstairs. I was walking behind him following where he was going. Then we stopped at a white door. "Here's you're room, my room is right infront of yours, so if you ever need anything, you can just come over." He says and gives me a faint smile. "Thank you, I will." I smile back. For a little moment we just stood there in awkwars silent not knowing what to do next. "So uh, I'm just going to go downstairs and bring your stuff alright." "No no Moe it's fine I can bring them myself." "No y/n you go into your room and have a look in it okay, I'll bring your stuff." He puts a hand on my shoulder. Tell me why am I blushing. Ughhh. "Thank you Moe." And with that he gives me a smile and goes downstairs to bring my stuff.

I opened the door and saw my room for first the time. It looked so cozy and warm. I already felt like I was at home.

I honestly didn't know how to react, everything looked so beautiful. I was about to step inside but when I went in I suddenly slipped on the carpet that was on the floor. Right when I was about to fall backwards I felt two hands catch me from behind. I was in shock. I looked down my waist to see two yellow hands. It was Moe... I felt my cheeks getting really hot, I knew that I was blushing.
"Hey, are you okay y/n?" "Omg I'm so sorry this is so embarrassing." "Y/n that's not important, are you okay?" "Yeah I'm okay haha, thank you." I let out a nervous laugh "Agh this stupid carpet, Rooney slipped on this once too." "Damn really" I say still in a little shock of what just happened. "Yeah I'm gonna put this away alright, I don't want anything bad to happen you know." "Yeah sure." He bends over to take the small carpet. Great y/n that was so embarrassing. Fantastic start at your new home. "Oh and thanks for the baggages Moe." "Oh yeah no problem." He gets up with the carpet in his hand and gives me a smile. "Alright, I'm gonna go downstairs now, if you want you can just settle in for now and also take a nap if you feel tired, you can just come down when you're ready, I'll let the others know." "Yeah that would be really good, thank you Moe." "Anything for you-uh I mean anything for my best friend in the whole wide world of course!" Now should I take this in the other way or this way, did he mean this in friends way or other way. I don't know wtf. This boy is doing something serious to me. "Alright see ya y/n!" "See ya Moe!" And he goes  back downstairs with the carpet in his hands. But something was different.
He seemed really nervous. I don't know just in general he was acting more different than usual. Why was he acting like this, even when he caught me, he just seemed so shy and nervous. Do you think he likes me- nah it can't be. Or- nahhh. Maybe I should really get some sleep.
