"Simon!" Wilhelm called out.
Simon turns around, tears forming in his eyes
"What?" Simon replies.
One thinks of what to say,
"Can we talk about this, please? We'll talk about it all. Everything. Just please don't leave me." the prince grieved.
Both pausing, looking into each other while waiting for the reply.
"Wille, I can't do this right now. Your mom and the monarchy doesn't want you to be seen with me, so don't bother telling me 'Fuck the monarchy' because I know they will have a way to ruin you, us, and everything else."
"Simon, I promise I will do anything to keep anyone from bothering you or our relationship. If I say anything, I mean it! Can we please talk about it?"
Silence. Both are teary-eyed.
"I'm not saying that you're going to break your promise, but here's a promise that I'm going to make. I promise to distance myself from you.", Simon stated.
Wilhelm looks at him, "How are you going to do that?"
"I just will."
As Simon walks away, he hears a faint:
"I love you."
Simon stops walking and turns to reply,
"I'll see you very soon, Wilhelm."
Wilhelm's eyes widen at the name he was just called as he watches Simon walk away.
