"You're back

"You're back." Deadpanned Megumi making you jump up in surprise. Your eyes narrowed, glancing towards him."You could've at least pretended to be more enthusiastic." You complained, rather disappointed.

You looked towards Nobara expectantly. She stared back blankly. "Wow, your back." She stated with overly fake enthusiasm. You sighed, disappointed.

"This is why we can't have nice things." You proclaimed, jokingly. Gojo smiled at that comment.

"Anyway... guess were we're going today? Never mind, I'm just gonna tell you! We're going to Megumi's old school." Megumi glared at Gojo
until we arrived.

"Kids." Giggled Gojo in his usual childish manner. The sound made you feel like crawling up in a ball to die and cry for some reason you couldn't fully understand yet. You leave quickly.

-

"That's why I want to exorcise it now. But it's true that the mission is more danger-" He stated evenly before getting interrupted by Yuji and Nobara

"Yeah, yeah. We got ya," "you should of told us from the beginning," Megumi smiled and you were oddly both pleased and put off at the display. You started walking and saw a river in the alley you were in. Then you looked up. Eww...

"There it is." Muttered Yuji, pointing towards it. You wondered if you would mind curses so much if they were at least a little better looking.

"Could be fun." Smirked Nobara confidently, ready to kill the curse. You moved a step backwards, positioned slightly behind Nobara. "Guh." Double eww. You took another revolted step backwards.

"I'll take this one." Claimed Yuji determined.

"Good luck." You wished.

"Wait! Where are you going?" Questioned Megumi, suddenly looking directly at you. You shrugged.

"To see my father." You said looking towards the sky, sighing. You hadn't seen him in so long and you were not particularly looking forward to it. A conversation between the two of you was long over due, however.

"Bye, y/n," Said the kids in unison, waving you off. Adorable, you couldn't help but wave back. Before you could reply though, you found yourself in an endless black space. Amongst the endless darkness the only thing you could see were a pair of glowing red eyes.

"Y/n." Said a low voice. You groaned.

"Hiya dad." You replied half heartedly.

"Why have you been gone so long?" He questioned casually, finally, appearing before you fully. Your father was ridiculously tall, his black hair falling slightly over his eyes and reaching to the back of
his knees.

"Why, did you miss me? Or am I just not allowed amongst the people down there?" You probed curiously. Your father had a tendency to be controlling.

"You belong up here. Filthy boring humans have always being nuisances." He said as plainly as possible, as though he was talking about some
gum on his shoe. Wow, way to dodge the question, not even in the same ballpark, you scoffed internally.

"The only reason I left was because you were such an overbearing father." You remarked, wistfully.

"I was only being a good father." He said, saying the same thing he always does to justify his actions. He said the exact same thing before putting me to sleep for a thousand years.

"I sound like that when I'm lying too." That made him smirk and give you an amused look, though not one without his usual condescension.

"Such a nice daughter I have." Old bastard, you thought, glaring up at him, hoping he would hear you.

"Calling me an 'old bastard' too. Simply adorable." He said in annoying manner that only your dad could pull off. Though... how did he even know you said that?

"You know, if you ever actually paid attention to what I say, you would know what powers we share." He claimed, shaking his head. Yeah, no. Being omniscient would ruin your favourite tv shows.
