Bright lights flashed across the Eclipse Estate. The sounds of Kado Thorne's dealers, low cards, and many guests laughing and playful sounds caught the attention of Kado Thorne. Thorne was not a fan of parties and never liked the idea of having one at any of his Estates or any of his Strongholds. He only would agree to parties once a year, or so he decided. It was August 25th, which was the day the Eclipse Estate was built. Today, it marked the one year anniversary for the existence of the Strongholds and the Eclipse Estate. He figured that his men deserved fun once in a while, as they all were hard workers for him, both low cards and dealers.

Chapter 4 Season 4:

Eclipse Estate.

"Don't worry everybody! Soon our boss will come up here and you will be greeted by the one and only, Kado Thorne!" One of the Diamond dealers said out loud onto the microphone. The Diamond dealer was kind and was the one who was responsible for the placement and cause of the party existing and being run. He was the one who was running the party. "Once we find him and see what is taking so long, we will bring him up here. We know you are all waiting." The Dealer added. A crowd of people cheering was heard. Below the floor the party was happening at, Kado Thorne sat in silence in the dark room. His light was off and he was as still as a statue.

"Aye, Aye, Aye, what have I gotten myself into this time.." Thorne sighed as he rubbed his head thinking to himself. Footsteps were heard near the room he was sitting at and his head turned to see what it was. He glared at the door until the person opened it. It was the heart dealer. He stood there, hands in the pockets of his long cloak as he turned his head in curiosity. "Hey boss.. You alright?" Heart Dealer asked as he leaned against the door. "Yeah, I'm alright. Why?" Thorne questioned. Thorne knew that behind the mask the dealer wore, he had a face full of confusion. They planned this day for a long while and Kado Thorne knew what he was supposed to be doing. The dealer flipped the light switch and Kado Thorne hissed as he blocked out his eyes from the incoming bright light that nearly blinded him. "WHY WOULD YOU TURN ON THE LIGHT LIKE THAT! AT LEAST WARN ME BEFORE YOU DO THAT!" Thorne shouted. The dealer stood there quietly, not knowing or having an idea of what to tell his boss. The boss then growled, standing up and glaring at the Heart Dealer.

"I'll be up there." The boss finally said as the dealer ran out of the room.

Kado Thorne walked through the hallways and up the stairs. He exhaled against the feeling of cold air from the outdoors that slowly made its way to the presence of himself.

Behind him, a camera had shut off, by an unknown cause.

Thorne stepped out onto the floor to the party. It was full of many members of the island. People were playing games, laughing, talking, and children played around the building. Kado Thorne lifted his head up in concern. There was a woman he had never seen before of all the guests who visited The Eclipse Estate. She was a dark skinned woman who wore clothing that was white and gold. She had dark brown eyes and dark brown hair with light brown fade on the left side. She had a device in her ear that none of the members of the party had. Kado Thorne shrugged to himself and thought nothing of it, however soon his concern grew stronger and higher. He walked up to the other set of stairs and nodded at the dealers who stood in a row that nodded at him as well, the diamond dealer giving him the microphone. The music then stopped and everyone's attention was to the man who stood above them, staring down at them.

"Greetings, everybody. You may know me, Kado Thorne. The one who has been all over the news. I want to thank you all for attending our celebration, we all truly appreciate your support." He said into the microphone. He watched as the people waved and ate while listening to him speak, some cheering him on. "As you may know by the purpose of this part, today marks 1 year of us. Our existence on your island. It's been a good year. A very good year indeed. My men and women work hard to give to you everything we can. We all care about you truly and are doing our best to provi-" Kado stopped talking. He heard somebody interrupt him, he looked down and saw a man. "Hey! My name's Verge, sorry to interrupt. But a very quick question. Are you a vampire?"

It was silent.

Thorne looked down at the man as if he was prey. A hungry wolf watching a rabbit.

"I am no such thing. What makes you think that, exactly?" Thorne questioned as he raised his eyebrow down at Verge. "Well. There was a spotting of a vampire. Some say that you have fangs." Verge replied.

Many people began to speak.

"What's going on?!"

"Show us!"

"What is he talking about?"

Kado Thorne sighed and opened his mouth showing his pure white teeth. No fangs.

"Oh okay, thank you, I just wanted to clear that info up!" Verge shouted as Kado Thorne held up his hand in reply. "Well, I have concluded what I wanted to say, thank you all." Thorne finally said.

Everybody cheered in reply and the music continued to play.

Thorne looked around as he walked off noticing that the woman was gone. He grinned a fangful grin and walked down the stairs as he noticed the camera's were disabled.

Kado Thorne's Vault.

The woman reached for the drum gun and stopped as she saw the shadow of Kado Thorne. She turned around quickly and saw nothing. Nobody was there. Nobody she could see. But something grabbed her shoulder and she looked behind her to see him looking down at her. "Well look at you. Breaking into my fault at such a late time of night." He chuckled and then continued.

"Who are you."

"You don't need to know that information." The woman growled.

She put her hand to her ear and noticed the device was missing, gone, vanished from her ear as if it never existed. She gasped and looked at Thorne. He held the device in his hand and smirked at her. "Looking for this? Do you need help? Are you in danger? I certainly am not touching you or harming you in anyway or form, sweetheart." The man laughed. "Now I ask again young one, who are you?" He added as his laugh shifted into a growl. "Antonia. Call me Antonia. Pathetic monster." Antonia growled back as she hit him across his face hard. Thorne stared at her with aggressive eyes and exhaled. "You're very lucky I'm not in the mood for this. You can either leave or I will be forced to eliminate you. Just like the others." Thorne said. Antonia stared at him like he stared at her. "I will tell everybody what you really are, vampire." She snarled. Kado Thorne laughed and crushed the device in his hand. "And who will they believe? The man who did a lot for them or a woman who's breaking into the helpful man's vault?" He said back to her. He lined his face close to hers and put his hand at the side of her right cheek.

"Now do me a favor and leave this place." He said. His voice was gentle and soft, unthreatening against Antonia. She was confused. This man had been a monster. A murderer to people from the past but against her he was.. Calming? Something was right and she knew something was up Kado Thorne's sleeve.

"How did you know I was here." She said, looking away from the man and staring at the painting of himself on the wall inside of the vault. "It wasn't hard. Just saw a lonely woman with a device in her ear who looked around starting fake conversations with people here. Just before you did so you shut off my camera's. Besides, I was alerted. Every time those cameras turn off I get alerted." He smiled. Antonia shoved him off and scoffed. "Just piss off, fang head." She growled, spitting on the ground as she made her way out of the vault. "Fang head? Never heard that one before. Stay out of my vault's will you? I don't wanna see you in here again." Kado Thorne replied to her insult with a calm growl.

She stopped and looked behind her slowly.

"You're not gonna kill me? I expected you to. You're quite pathetic."

"I'm not in the mood as I said earlier. Now go before I change my mind and have you hung up on my wall for a delightful decor."

She walked out finally and wasn't seen again that night.

Eclipse Estate.

The party was finally over and Thorne was left in his room. Nothing else was heard but the sounds of his breathing and the noises of wind. Finally, Kado Thorne closed his eyes and exhaled, laying down on his bed and slowly falling asleep while listening to the echo's of the wind.

It was quiet.

It was dark.

But it was just what he wanted.

Just what he needed.
