Chapter 3: Nolan Chance.

"BOSS!" Shouted the Heart Dealer, running into Thorne's room, who woke up fast confused by the sudden yelling. "What. WHAT. WHAT HAPPENED?" Thorne shouted back, rising to his feet quickly in alarm. "Somebody came here. They snuck in and stole plenty of your belongings. The Club and Diamond Dealers tried to stop whoever took it but they were taken out by him." Heart said in shame, looking down at the ground with the feeling of guilt running through him. "Somebody got away with this. This should be interesting. Very... Interesting.." Thorne grinned, he looked at the time and noticed that it was 2:00 A.M. "I suggest that you get your rest boss." Heart suggested, patting his boss's shoulder gently as his boss passed by him grabbing his mask and putting it on. "I want to see who took my things. Was there camera footage?" Throne asked. "There is. One of the cameras was not successfully destroyed by whoever this is." Heart answered, walking out of the room and leading Kado Thorne with him to the camera room.

Inside the camera room, the computers and devices were all turned on. It was good for Thorne to know that his men looked at the footage to make sure they knew who it was. Thorne walked over to the main computer that faced the door and looked closely at it. The video did not play, but Thorne instantly knew who it was.

Nolan. 

Nolan Chance.

"Now this is surprising. I know who that is. I should have known that I would have a visitor." Thorne smirked behind his mask. "You know who this guy is?" Heart asked curiously, eyeing his boss who was now putting on his cloak and necklaces. "Oh yes, I do. During the celebration, I met with his friend Antonia, the girl who tried to steal from my vault but failed." Thorne exhaled, walking out of the camera room. As he walked, his dealer followed him. "How are you going to handle this," Heart questioned, looking at Thorne who walked furiously. "He's a thief. You know I am as well. How would I take what I currently have now? Well, what is now stolen." Thorne responded. Behind him, his large wings opened, widening as he stretched them, preparing for flight. "Will you be ok?" The dealer asked. Thorne nodded and quickly responded, "Yes, I will be. Take care of the other dealers while I deal with this pain." 

Moments went by and Kado Thorne was flying. Beating his wings against the air and traveling across the map. He flew down and dipped his hands and wing tips in the river stream, waking himself up more, and preparing himself. As he flew, he looked around him and studied the wildlife around him. Chickens roamed and ran in the forest along with the wolves that watched over their prey, The frogs croaked and the raptors ran. Throne was always interested in the life of wildlife, but slight interest in the ways mortals lived. He landed fast and quietly on the top of the barn house in Frenzy Fields that Nolan lived in. Thorne had done his research and knew exactly where to find Nolan, knowing that one day Nolan would succeed. He was unlike his friends and fellow members of his group. He stayed quiet, looking through the window on the rooftop at his target who seemed to be inspecting the stolen property. Thorne listened closely, focusing on the conversations happening below him.

"I have to go home, Nolan." Antonia smiled at him, looking down at the collection of valuable items under Nolan's hands. "Already? What a shame." Nolan sighed. "I don't even know why I decided to stay up this late." She replied. "Maybe because you were worried about me. Since you are in love with me." Nolan chuckled, Antonia, slapping him in response. "Be quiet Nolan! You should be asleep too! Before Mr wing man swoops down and captures you like an eagle with a snake." She snarled, Nolan, turning his head at her. "You think he could get me? He's probably asleep right now. Dreaming about whatever monsters like him dream about." Nolan said as he rolled his eyes at the thought of Thorne as he continued, "Have you ever met Kado Thorne anywhere before, by yourself?" The room went silent, and finally, Antonia responded.
