Three days have gone by, Tao had brought every day his course work. While Charlie made his homework, his grandparents had taken the three of them on Friday to the zoo, just a short afternoon and then a trip to McDonalds. Charlie didn't like the food.
He ate two chicken nuggets before he decided he didn't want anything anymore. His grandparents didn't push it. He felt tired and hated that everyone and everything was getting adjusted around him.
And when he said, everything, he means everything. He could clearly remember that his father always had razors in the bathroom cabinets but they suddenly disappeared when he was in heat. He couldn't ask about them either, he could but he doubts he could play it down.
The therapist that he was assigned, Geoff, he had decided that he needed to go through some tests. Since he had been very open about his problems, a part of him really wanted to get better. If not for himself, for his family. He hated the thought of being tested, mostly since eating disorders most likely were paired with other disorders.
He is going to a diëtist, to help plan out meals for him and balans it with things he likes and talk about the effects that his eating disorder could do to him. He was scared when the diëtist pulled out photos of what could happen and the horrific effects. She wasn't trying to scare him back into eating, just trying to bring awareness to what he was doing.
He had gotten in a fight with his dad over not wanting to eat a few nights ago. The fight was bad and quite scaring to Charlie. That night he had ran up to his bedroom but first he had tried to find the razors in his father's bedroom. But to no avail, he couldn't find them and left upset to his bed.
His father had apologised the morning after, that he had been too pushy and that he talked to his therapist, who told him that things sadly would get worse before they would get better. And his father had accepted that and only tried to encourage Charlie to eat as much as he wanted and not force anything.
Sadly, Monday was fast approaching and Charlie wasn't ready to go back to school. All he could think about was how everyone was going to laugh at him or shove him around. His hands were too shaky to put on his school tie, Tori had stepped into his room to check on him. He was near tears when she noticed him struggling with his tie.
"Here, let me." She had said softly, understanding that Charlie was very scared to go back. If she had been in his shoes, she would have been just as scared. Being an omega and male at that, would make him a target for many alphas to try to claim.
Instead of his father taking them to school, their grandparents would drop them off. So his father could go to work for a change, even though his grandparents wouldn't be able to stay forever. They were expanding their stay for a while longer, just to help out, mostly with Olly and running the house. Cooking, cleaning and gardening. Charlie is sure that the garden has never looked more beautiful.
As the car pulls into the parking lot of school, Tori climbs out of the car first. Charlie looks out of the car door, clutching Nick's school sweater to his chest. He reluctantly climbs out of the car himself.
His nerves for going back to school have suddenly proven to be pointless, no one even looked when Charlie had walked into the school building. Tori had given him a quick hug, the only exception of affection she would give him in public.
Getting to his locker was easy too, Tao waited there with Isaac and Elle. A friend they had made around Christmas, she was becoming a more and more prominent friend in the group. He really likes her, she's a very talented artist and she's made him a drawing a couple of weeks back.
