Dear Snoopy
There's a lot I can say
You helped me more than you know
I don't know where I would be if you weren't here today
I've watched you grow
Since you were just a tiny pup
We'd run throughout the yard and play
Even then you were always wound upWhen my mom came home from the hospital, you were our surprise
So cute and small
Who could say no when they seen those puppy dog eyes
When you chased your little round ball
A few months later my mom died
What was I going to do
But you were always right there when I cried
If it weren't for you, would I even make it throughDogs are a gift sent to us from above
They don't live as long
Because they're born already knowing how to love
Snoopy helped me be strongYou bark so loud
It makes my head ache
You're always hyper and wound
But you're there when I feel like I'm going to break
Even on the days you drive me wild
I'd never consider you a mistake
You're more like my childDear Snoopy I've said it all
I know you'll pick up the pieces
Whenever I fall
