Narrators POV:

Uzi narrowed her eyes, walking outside and letting the door close behind her, throwing snow around a bit. Taking a sharp breath, she looked around her surroundings, before...

...

Giggle!

Before she could react, she felt claws grip her metallic skin for only a split second before she was pushed to the ground. Her gun was yanked off her back, and thrown to the side. She heard another feminine giggle sound above her, as sadistic and psychotic as it could get.

"V! Don't scare them! We need them to trust us."

A male voice sounded, making even more thoughts rush through Uzi's head. She felt the foot on top of her head slide off, allowing her to get up. Within a blink, she was dashing up and reaching for her gun, but just before she could reach and grab it, a bullet shot sliding ever so closely to Uzi's hand.

"So much for getting trust."

She looked towards the drones, and just like she thought, they were disassembly drones. Her eyes glitched for a second, she had too many thoughts running through her 'brain' or, system in this matter.

The male DD, who sent out the bullet, blew his gun and shifted his hand to normal, the female sat on the ground beside him, crossing her arms, looking bored. The female watched the door carefully, waiting to make sure no one slid through it at the last second.

'Why aren't they attacking? My gun is useless without the core, and I can't make it inside that quickly without accidentally letting them in...'

The male drone's voice snapped her out of her thoughts. He smiled, with a cheerful expression. One that made Uzi fill with fury and anger.

"I'm serial designation-"

Uzi cut him off, throwing a rock at him, which he quickly caught. The female looked towards her and raised an eyebrow before narrowing her eyes, one turning into a small X.

"Watch what you throw."

She spat, earning a quick slap on the head from the male. He 'cleared his throat', starting again from the top. He had a passive-aggressive expression, as if threatening Uzi not to interrupt him again.

"I'm serial designation N, and this is Serial designation V, but you can call us N and V."

He said, clapping two hands, with a happy expression. Uzi continued glaring, keeping her eyes and body faced towards them, but attempting to use her leg to reach and kick or drag the rail gun back towards her. However, before she could drag it too far, V changed her hands to a gun, glaring at her.

A shiver ran through her endoskeleton before she turned her attention back towards N.

"You might be wondering why we aren't doing all that, know, MURDER."

He pointed to her with hollowed eyes, making her flinch back for a second, but quickly regaining composure.

"But I assure you we've come to uh...redeem ourselves"

V groaned, getting up from her sitting position.

"What the idiot means to say is that we believe you workers deserve 'better'. Take us inside, and we can try our best to get all of you off this damn snow rock."

Uzi looked them up and down.

"How about you...Bite me!"

She grabbed her gun and dashed off in less than a second, leaving nothing but her footprints behind. V groaned and rolled her eyes, jumping and hovering before giving chase.

N followed close behind V, but on the ground. They shot at her, but not directly, they were aiming for her leg, they couldn't damage the treasure too bad.

Uzi made it into the spire, but before she could calm herself and hide, a missile shot straight at her. She ducked, looking up to see yet another disassembly drone. This one didn't seem so merciful, nor did it look like it wanted negotiation.

N and V perched on a hole in the top section of the spire, glaring down at the scene. Uzi had slid to grab the core, but it was knocked out of her hand when J landed in-front of her, knocking her back.

Uzi did a backflip, landing on her feet. She looked down at her stance with amusement and pride, as if she was a toddler showing her parents a new drawing.

"Woah, and they say pirating all that an-"

Suddenly, she was knocked to the ground, before she felt something pierced through the right area of her visor. She let out a scream, before the blade slid out, leaving nothing but yellow nanite acid dripping down. Meanwhile, while she got to her knees and held her eye, J was knocked to the ground by N.

J quickly got to her 'feet', and 'growled'.

"Hello, Traitor!"

"Sorry J, but we need this worker drone, we'll explain later!"

N said, but it fell on deaf ears. J lunged at him, but he grabbed her claws and flung her across the spire. J used her pointed feet and claws to stop her sliding, but her head was suddenly bashed into the floor.

She let out a furious and painful screech, her visor was broken now, and it hurt like hell. Suddenly, she felt a nanite acid needle stab the back of her head, before everything went dark. V lifted her foot out of J's head, shaking it to get the oil off.

She looked over to the purple drone, who was sitting on the wall of the spire, her face buried into her knees. V suddenly heard a whirring noise. She looked back at J, who was regenerating.

"Shit!-"

She grabbed the nearby rail gun, pointing it at J and inserting the core, before shooting her body, which ended with only her lower half intact. V walked back over to Uzi, throwing the gun down in-front of her. Uzi looked back at J, and then looked at V.

N landed beside her, causing her to flinch. He sat on his knees and smiled, which made her think for a moment. She groaned and rolled the one eye she had left.

"You really want to help us?"
