After a quick shower, you pull yourself together so you can leave. You walk into the kitchen and grab some yogurt and strawberries. You mix it together in a small bowl and walk to the guest bedroom.
Knocking on the door you wait to hear a small come in before walking into the room.
"How long have you been up?" You asked sitting on the bed.
"A few hours. I had a small thing to fill out for the merger and then I had some breakfast. I was about to go wake you up before I heard the shower running," He answered.
"We should get going. Are you driving?" You said.
"Yeah I thought I'd give you a break from driving," He giggled.
You shook your head with a laugh and got up from the bed. You walked out and picked up your phone and backpack before following Jeongin out the front door. He unlocked his car and you both got into the luxurious Mercedes.
"Do you want to stop and get some smoothies?" He asked as he pulled out of the driveway.
"A smoothie sounds nice," You smiled.
He sent a smile your way and drove to the nearest Starbucks.
"Is there any smoothie in particular you're wanting?"
"A strawberry banana smoothie will do,"
"So basic," Jeongin teased.
You let out a scoff and lightly hit his shoulder. Jeongin let out a laugh as he pulled into the drive-through. You bask in the silence for a while, listening to the soft tunes of the radio before Jeongin ordered the smoothies. Once the orders were done, Jeongin handed you the cup. You thanked him with a nod.
You both rode the rest of the way in silence. Just enjoying each other's company. You kept looking at his hand, wanting to take it in yours, but you know it's not time yet. He hurt you, so not only is this going to be hard on him, but also on you.
Once he pulled into the doctor's office, you grabbed your phone and wallet and got out.
"I can wait in the waiting room if you want me to," He offered.
"No, I want you with me. I know I'm gonna need a hand to hold for this. I was told that this was going to be a really emotional appointment so I'm going to need some emotional support," You expressed.
He nodded and followed you to the front desk.
"Miss Lee no Yeji today?" The nurse asked.
"Nope, my friend Jeongin is with me today," You smiled as you filled out the paperwork.
"He was with you for the first appointment wasn't he? Well, it's nice to see you again Jeongin," The lady smiled.
