Kyo ran then stopped, wait, I can fly why am I running? He thought then leaped into the sky letting his wings come out and carry him up high into the sky. He managed to get away faster when he was flying.

Once he got back to his clan, one of the members leaned in and inhaled.

"You smell like vampire," he spat.

"I got into a fight with one on my way back, no worries," Kyo lied.

"You don't seem injured, and we know you can't heal yourself..."

"Sheesh, I'm that good at fighting, okay? Not a scratch," Kyo blew him off, earning some smiles from the younger demons for his "bravery".

Later on during the day, Kyo thought of many things, but thy somehow all led back to Ariel.

Why does she keep running through my mind. Ugh she's a vampire so stop thinking about her. She probably forgot about you anyway. Kyo thought trying to convince himself to stop thinking about Ariel.

Kyo couldn't help but want to see her again. He didn't really know why, he just knew that he had to. Kyo gathered his daitengu knowing that they are the only ones that he could explain everything to and they would help him no matter how crazy he thought he was going.

When he got them all together they went somewhere where no one would over hear him. He then proceeded to explain everything to them.

"Wait wait wait so your saying that you met Ariel and lived. That's just amazing. She isn't exactly known for leaving demons alive. She kills any demon she meats." Zenki said amazed. He had heard a lot about the vampire Ariel.

"Was she as beautiful as they say she is?" Buzen asked curiously. He had heard about Ariel as well but he mainly heard about her looks.

"Stay on subject." Sagami said, "you are aware of the fact that she can kill you correct? She even told you that she would. So why do you want to see her so bad."

"I know she can kill me but I just really have to see her again. I don't know why I just know that I have to." Kyo explained.

"Well I guess we should get searching then. The way you are now I highlydoubt that you will be able to focus on anything." Buzen said. They all knew how Kyo was. If he said he had to do something he wouldn'tbe able to focus on anything else until that something was done.

"Yes but we must remember that she is a vampire who has killed many demons in the past so we must be careful." Sagami said. With that they made a plan to move to the city to find the vampire that Kyo couldn't stop thinking about. They would wait a few days before moving so they wouldn't be to suspicious. (Even though Kyo is the clan leader and should be allowed to do whatever he wants without being questioned.)

A few days passed then Kyo and his daitengu moved into a large home just outside of town. There weren't many other homes close to them. The closest house to theirs was a little less than a mile away.

"Ok now where do we start searching for Ariel?" Sagami asked.

"Let's start in the part of town closest to us." Kyo suggested.

(Most vampires lived in town because demons lived further away from town and usually didn't go to town. Ariel however doesn't get along well with others so she lives out of town.)

"Good idea. Vampires that live in town wouldn't start a fight with us because that would get the attention of the humans. And that would be bad for them." Zenki said.

They went to town and searched all day. They had no luck. They continued searching town all week avoiding confrontation with the vampires there by masking their scent to smell like humans. One day Sagami stayed home and decided to search the Internet to try and find Ariel. Everyone else had been gone for about an hour then he heard a knock on the door. Sagami hesitated befor he answered the door because he knew that the person at the door was a vampire. His scent was masked but he was still careful.
