Arthur's Note: Keep in mind that this is MY story that I orignally made on AO3 and I'm just posting this on Wattpad for more feedback.

"Another day in Fair City, and it is just the same as any other," is what a certain boy genius thought as he sat in his chair drawing new blueprints, trying to come up with something that does not destroy the city. Theodore "Tobey" Mccallister was once an evil boy genius who, as a child, possessed great skill in robotics and mathematics. However, instead of using such intelligence for the good of society, he was going to use it for destructive and sometimes selfish purposes.

He had no powers but could build robots so efficiently and perfectly that he became one of the most infamous villains in the whole city at just 10 years old, and while he was not the only child villain, he was the youngest in the EVA (Evil Villains Association). However, while all his actions were done because of something petty, his anger issues, or just a way to cheat, he mainly did all of this just to get the attention of the city's hero, Wordgirl.

He always had a stupid crush on Wordgirl, and most of his actions were just to get her attention as well as feed his narcissism, but little did he know Wordgirl was closer than he thought as a different person whom he had briefly suspected, but that came to nothing. But things are different now, as he came to realize how stupid that was and how he could be thrown in jail for his actions.

Now Tobey did not fear the law, and that was likely because he was young at the time and they could not hold him in a jail cell, and on rare occasions where he was taken by the police, his mother just had to pick him up.

While he didn't fear or show respect to the law, he always feared his mother, who was not going to take any of his BS and would ground him and take away his robot privileges. Why couldn't she take it away permanently? He does not know, as he would just go back to his usual schemes the moment he was ungrounded.

But now that he was 16, Tobey could not build any more robots, or at least giant ones that could destroy buildings, for if he ended up in jail, his mother would be furious, and he did not want to think of the worst possible scenario. So just for his mother, he would try what he could to better himself, but he needed to keep this away from the EVA; after all, they are the only actual friends he has.

Tobey was trying to come up with small utility robots that could help people with basic needs, but he felt that would be useless, as not only did it feel like an insult to his abilities, but no one would want anything from a villain, so he needed something else.

"This is hopeless; all this work will go to waste. I am a genius, and I am not going to waste my time on small, insignificant things like some child."

Tobey yelled, though his mother was not around to hear it; in fact, she's always gone for the long hours at her job and has rarely ever spent time with her son. Tobey shook the thought from his head as he needed to focus on what was important.

"What can I do to make things right but hide away at the same time? There must be some way I can."

As he looked around, he saw his old wordgirl plush toy, and while his stupid crush on wordgirl has gone away, he still has some slight affection for her and would try to win her heart using his charm if given the chance. But as he thought about wordgirl more, he came up with an idea: wordgirl is a hero with a secret identity, so perhaps he could do the same. But he didn't have powers, and he couldn't use his robots, so he needed something new.

"A suit... a power suit, yes, that's it. I will build a suit of armor that will not only give me powers but can conceal my identity so I can save the city alongside Wordgirl!"

He will only reveal that identity to his mother, and when the time comes, perhaps he could win the wordgirl's heart. But how will he build it? It would be just like building a wordbot; it would have to be big enough to fit his body. He would need to create the same power core that gave Wordbot her powers and put it in his suit, but first he needed to forge the suit.
