𝐠𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐡

'𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐲 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮 , 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐢 𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐭 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐚 𝐠𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐡'

Sam was back , and so was my sanity. The second I caught a whiff of her signature vanilla and sandalwood fragrance I knew it was her, but just to confirm I continued to do a full turn and the second I saw her face all my worries went away, the fear something terrible had happened was gone , and the heartbreak I felt when she didn't message me that morning had passed. It was just me and her now and that's 'all I ever wanted'.

But maybe I was a bit delusional for thinking nothing could come between us .

The second we left the bar we were surrounded. Flashing lights in every corner of my eye, the voices of strangers going in one ear and out the other as we try and reach Sam's car hand in hand. 

Our requests for them to leave didn't stop them following us all the way to the car.  When we finally arrived in the vehicle I felt as if I could finally breathe after what felt like an eternity of holding my breath. Sam spoke being the first to break the silence, "I've missed you so much, you know that right?", I didn't say a word before placing a kiss on her lips, even after all this time I still get butterflies every time my lips touch hers.

We spent the rest of the drive in silence just enjoying each others company after spending so long apart.  When we finally arrived at my apartment, we were sure to be quiet considering I shared it with my 'four' friends , Parker, Logan, Indigo and molly, although Indigo was staying with her girlfriend in her hotel, and Logan was Staying with her girlfriend 'Alessia' whilst she was here in Australia for the Women's World Cup.

As I got into bed next to Sam I realised just how much I had  missed her , and even just lying next to her in silence was enough for me.

"night, I love you" she spoke , "goodnight" I replied before pressing one last kiss on her cheek before finally going to sleep.

6:30 AM

I was woken up by the sound of constant notifications from people I had assumed were fans, most of the notifications telling me I was being tagged in posts and comments. I was confused to say the least but when I unlocked my phone and saw an article from 𝖒𝖆𝖎𝖑ᴏɴʟɪɴᴇ, I realised I couldn't of been more wrong assuming they were fans , it was hate ?
