i tried to read my dads face because thats one of the things ive always been able to do to see if i should get away from him but i couuldnt read it this time and before i could wait for him any longer he said "so do you want to explain why i wake up to both of my daughters gone, there rooms raided,clothes gone, and no answers on the phone. I mean your moms worried sick. She's barley getting sleep.
And then to make matters worse i get a call from the hospital that you and 5 others have been in a car crash. I thought you were dead" He begins. "Oh don't even act like you care about us or mom. And im fine so you can leave, don't call me again and tell mom in fine" i tell my 'father'. As i walk away he grabs my arm and says "i know I haven't treated you right, but i want to now, i want to try to be your father"
"well try harder" i said then walked out before he could say anythingI went to go talk to dom in the waiting room and that's where i found out Stevie was inn the hospital as well and after a while of talking he fell asleep on my lap
7:30(2 hours later)
I was lightly shaken awake by Stevie's mom and she had asked me if i would like to see him and i said yes almost immediately. I woke everyone else up and we went to his room. "Hey Stevie, how you feeling" i ask. "Good, are you ok, i heard some doctors talking about you"she responded. "Don't worry about me, im good" i replied.
We all sat down and it was quiet until Dom broke the silence "can i see it?" He says referring to the the broken wrist x-ray."he took a picture" Stevie says as he hands it to him. We all lean closer to look at it. Once we sit back down ray says "you literally take the hardest hits I've seen anyone take in my life, you know you don't have to do that right". Stevie smiles faintly as i hug him. "Hey you guys wanna see something Mac" says we nod our heads and watch the video tape.
