3rd POV
Navier glanced at the annoying creature before she tried to walk away as she held Y/n's hand until...
"Ah! H-Hey you!" The thing called out to her.
Did she just address an empress like me...with a simple 'Hey you'..?
"Let's leave."
"You can't call her that, Lady Rashta."
The two ladies tried to lead her away from the empress, but the annoying thing refused to do so.
"I'm Rashta." She beamed.
What to do now?
"Is that so, Rashta?" The beautiful Navier spoke.
Did she want me to call her name or....? We probably won't meet each other again anyways.
Navier turned about to leave, but the stupid trash grabbed the end of Navier's dress.
"Please wait!"
Rashta accidentally ripped her dress.
"Your majesty!" Navier's two ladies in waiting shouted.
"How rude of you!" Eliza smacked the trash's hand away.
The poor thing of trash held her hand and trembled, "Err...I- I'm sorry. I should've addressed you properly, but I didn't know what to call you..."
"And y-your child is really pretty."
"Her majesty is the empress of the Eastern kingdom. Be mindful of your manners!" Laura exclaimed, "As well, as calling Lady Y/n or Young Majesty."
"Wha-? No, it's not that. I know you're the empress." Trashta said.
What? She was already aware that I'm the Empress? And yet...
"You know of me?" Navier sighed, "His Majesty, the Emperor has kindly allowed me to reside in the eastern palace."
Is Sovieshu being kind? Eastern Palace? A woman with a leg injury?
"Ah...You're that slave?" Navier asked.
"W-Well I..." Trashta trailed off.
"Your majesty! Please forgive my forwardness, but lady Rashta is not a slave," A lady-in-waiting defended Trashta.
Not a slave? My ladies-in-waiting informed me that she was a runaway slave...Since she clarified the matter, there's no need to look into this anymore.
"Is that so? I see," Navier said.
"Thank goodness we ran into each other! I was wondering when I should get to meet you," Trashta said.
"Meet me?" Navier asked.
"Either way, we'll be seeing each other all the time soon! So I think it's best to meet each other first," Trashta said.
Seeing her? Me? Why?
"What should I call you and your daughter?" Trashta asked.
What should she address me as...
"Just call me your majesty and my child will be called Young miss," Navier said.
"Huh?"
"That should suffice," Navier said, she turned away from her.
"Oh...Wait..." Trashta tried to reach out to Navier but was smacked by Laura.
"How rude! How dare you act this way towards Her Majesty," Laura shouted, "How filthy."
"Who are you calling filthy? What do you mean by that?" A male voice said.
Sovieshu appeared with two guards.
"Y-Your majesty!" Laura and Eliza bowed as Sovieshu walked past them.
Sovieshu glanced at Navier, he ignored her and ran to Trashta.
"Rashta!"
"There, there...Don't cry," Sovieshu covered the trash with his coat.
"No matter how much I console you...You are such a handful," Sovieshu said.
Tears ran down Trashta's cheeks.
What is this? No, this is no different from what Lady Eliza told me. But regardless, I'm not going to stay around to watch this unfold.
"Let us leave. My legs are beginning to ache, and I'm sure N/n is as well" Navier said.
"Wait- Stop right there, Empress," The annoying male said.
"Is there something wrong?" Navier asked.
"That lady-in-waiting," Sovieshit pointed at Laura, Navier snapped her head towards Laura.
Laura?
Don't tell me he's going to punish Laura for what she said to Rashta.
"Leave her here and you can be on your way," Sovieshit said.
"Why don't you tell me what's wrong?" Navier asked.
Laura is the lady-in-waiting of me, an Empress, and she's also a daughter of a high-ranking noble family.
To punish Laura for someone who has not even been granted that status of a concubine would publicly humiliate her.
And me, the Empress.
Navier stood in front of Laura, "No."
"She is my lady-in-waiting."
