Jeremy's POV
I told Mike my address. Since my car was parked in the driveway, we took mine. Mike insisted on driving, so he did. Along the way, he turned on the radio, and for a second my troubles seemed to disappear. We sang along to the song that was playing on the radio. The song was Animals, by Maroon 5. After the song was over, Mike turned off the radio and said to me "You're a good singer". I blush and say thanks. For the remainder of the time, I stared out of the window. I was already zoned out when Mike poked me and said "Hello? Earth to Jere, you there?". "Y-yeah" I said. We got out of the car. Hopefully my dad wasn't there. Mike must have saw how nervous I looked, cus he grabbed my arm and said "Come on! I'll come inside with you!" I smiled.
No one's POV
Mike and Jeremy carefully went inside. Jeremy told Mike that they'd have to go inside carefully because his dad might be sleeping, and he's extra cranky when someone wakes him from his sleep. Inside, they saw Jeremy's dad napping on the couch. They quietly started to walked to Jeremy's room, but his father woke up. "Huh? Who the hell us this?" he said in an upset voice. "I'm Mike, Jeremy's friend, and he's moving in with me" retorted Mike. A small but evil grin spread across Jeremy's fathers face. He said to Mike "Take him, I don't want him anymore". Mike and Jeremy walked into Jeremy's bedroom and grabbed the stuff Jeremy would need, while Mike muttered a few curse words. Once Jeremy got everything he needed, the two walked to the car and drived home. The drive home was silent. Completly silent. As soon as we got home, we just sat on the couch, drifting off into our own worlds.
