Synopsis: Wonjin and Jungmo are roommates and they had both come back from school. Wonjin is brutally afraid of thunderstorms and there happens to be one tonight. So Jungmo comforts him knowing he'll be scared.

pov: wonjin

I screamed in horror hearing a roaring sound from outside our dorm. I grab onto my blanket and cover my ears with the thick cloth. Why now? We had just finished school and I wanted to sleep peacefully but not a storm is coming.

I feel tears run down my cheeks, seeping into the sheets my head was resting on. The tears seemed to multiple and come down as heavy as the rain hitting against the window. My breathing turns heavy almost like was gasping for air. My head pounding and my heart beating against my chest. My ears ringing even when I try to drown it out.

"Wonjin?..." I cry harder hearing my roommate's voice. Light from the open door hit my eyelids.

"Shit what happened?" I hear Jungmo's steps get progressively closer to the bed. He pat my head while I sniffle and hide my head back into the covers to hide my cheeks that are flushed with embarrassment.

"Jungmo, I'm fine," I open my eyes while I feel more tears flow out of my eyes. I shiver and the cold from the AC hit my arms.

"That the worst lie I've ever heard," he said, "you're crying and you're shivering." he wiped my tears and rushed to his closet. Through the rain I hear him shuffling and clothing hangers screeching. Then, he runs back to me and lifts the covers off my body chasing me to tremble.

"Here, Wonjin, put this on it'll keep you warm," He held up a black hoodie with beige lettering on the front. I sit up and grab the hoodie and pull it on. As I went to speak, thunder then roared and I grabbed onto Jungmo. He pulled me closer and let me sob into his chest.

"Jungmo c-can you sleep with me.." I say quietly while looking at the wooden flooring. He lifted my chin up which made me look into his eyes.

"Of course! Do you need anything else? I can get a candle and a small speaker to play music if you want." I nod slowly and he ruffles my hair. While he was getting the supplies, I laid back down and lifted the cover back onto me to cover all of my body except my head.

"Okay so brought my speaker, my phone, hot chocolate, and... uh, Wonjin what scent do you like most? I brought cherry, strawberry, and vanilla."

I sniffle, " Vanilla please..." I see him nod and light the candle before putting the other candles back in his closet. He connected his phone to the speaker and Peach Eyes by Wave to Earth started to play.

Then, he walks to the other side of the bed and I feel him slip under the covers with me. I inhale and then turn on my right side so I could shift closer to Jungmo. I wrapped my arms around him and rested my head on his chest. He then wrapped his arms around me too. Then another bolt of lightning and thunder crackled through the night. I whimpered in fear and covered my ears with the sleeves of Jungmo's hoodie I was wearing. This made his grip around me tighten as he moved one of his hands to caress my head.

I feel myself relax and shift in Jungmo's embrace. Soon I fall asleep still in his hold...
