Marissa was shaking, Roman remained on his knee as she looked from her mother to her father, when she finally looked at Roman she shook her head yes "Yes, I will marry you Roman Godfrey" She said loudly, a lot of people had already been watching them but when she said yes there was a loud cheer and everyone was watching as Roman smiled and stood up, Marissa held her hand out to him and he placed the ring on her finger. Blushing she held it up and looked at it, it was the most beautiful ring she had ever laid eyes on. Her parents weren't too sure how they felt about this since it wasn't talked about but they were happy for there girl. Marissa looked at her parents and smiled happily "So does this mean you won't be going to Collage" Marissa's mother said frowning, Marissa sighed then looked at Roman, the look in his eyes was happy and she sighed, she looked at her mother and stroked her cheek softly "I promise you one day I will go to Collage and get my degree, but right now I need to focuse on the wedding, I'd Love for you to help me, I'd Love for you to be the Cook-Of-Honnor" Her mother gave a soft smile then looked at her father, her father nodded then both of them looked at Roman "If you hurt our little girl, we'll find you and kill you" Her father said, Roman nodded and smiled as he wrapped his arms around Marissa and held her from behind kissing her cheek "I will never hurt her, she is a part of me, I couldn't" Marissa felt chills go down her back when he kissed her cheek. She turned to Roman and smiled "Will I see you later?" Roman looked at her parents and walked over to them looking them dead in the eyes "You're daughter will move in with me, I will keep her safe, you will be able to visit and talk to her at any time" Her parents nodded and both smiled, Roman then turned to Marissa "Tonight is going to be an amazing night" She felt a chill go down her spine as he said those words.

Roman left Marissa with her parents and went back to his mother who was looking for him, Marissa could hear them yelling at each other and she wondered if he needed her to go to him, it had been a rough year for Roman, finding out what he really was and trying to figure out what he was going to do with the baby that he had no idea how to handle or even tell Marissa about. Marissa talked with her parents for a little bit then saw that Roman was standing alone, there was a woman walking away from him dressed in a white dress that had red flowers on the bottom of it, she could only imagine she was his mother. Marissa bid her parents farewell and watched as they left to go back to work, whenever Marissa turned around she saw Roman behind her which made her gasp. She put her hand over her heart "You scared me Roman" Roman took her face in his hands and held her close pressing his forehead to hers "I Love you" He said closing his eyes as he leaned in and kissed her deeply. Marissa ignoring everyone else that was whispering kissing him back deeply and passionatly.

That night things were going great, Marissa was sitting on the couch with a glass of Wine and Roman was rubbing her feet, he kept looking at her and she couldn't help but to be glad that she said yes to him, the ring standing out and feeling weird on her finger made her even more happy. She looked around the house and sighed softly "I'm glad that you finally noticed me" Roman looked at her and grinned a little as he stopped rubbing her feet, she looked at him as he grabbed the glass from her hand and set it on the table "I've always noticed you, all year. I have something to show you" Roman took her hand and gently pulled her up to her feet, Marissa giggled and stepped closer to him, he was worried this was going to make her run from him. Whenever they walked up the stairs Marissa was biting her lip hard, she didn't know what he was doing or where she was going, yes she had, had a little fun earlier during Graduation but sex itself was different. She swallowed as they walked down the hall, Roman plugged in the code to the door and they both walked through hand in hand, as they reached the other door Roman stopped and looked at her "Just whatever you do please don't hate me" Marissa crossed her hands over her chest and shook her head "I will never leave you, show me" Roman opened the door and led Marissa inside.

Walking into the room Marissa saw the little baby standing in the crib, she covered her mouth and looked at Roman "You're a father?" Roman nodded and watched as Marissa walked over to the baby, Nadia held her arms out and she picked her up "She's beautiful, I Love her already" Marissa looked into Nadia's eyes and she had tears in her own eyes, she then looked at Roman and sighed "Where's the mother?" Roman bit his lip hard and sighed "I know this is going to be hard to understand, so I think we best go out to the living room so you can sit down" They both walked out to the living room, Marissa sat Nadia down and she started to play with the letter blocks that were on the floor. Roman looked at Marissa and smiled "I'm a creature that is called a Upir, it's like a vampire but more stronger" Marissa then understood how he could do what he did at Graduation. She nodded as she listened to him "We can control people with our minds when we need to, my mother made me impregnante my cousin so she could have her child and keep our kind alive, but I didn't let her" Marissa nodded understanding "My mother made me forget it ever happened until last week, that's why I have her in that room, to protect her from everyone that wants to hurt her" Roman looked down and sighed, Marissa placed her hand on his hand and smiled softly "It's okay, no judgment here" Roman looked at her and smiled softly "Let's get the baby back to bed, you need some sleep it's late" Marissa walked with Roman and put the baby back into her crib, she smiled as she gave the baby a kiss goodnight then walked out with Roman holding his hand. As they walked to his room Marissa could feel herself starting to shake, Roman looked at her and stopped in the doorway "What's wrong?" He asked softly as he took her hand and gently kissed it, she looked at him then looked at the door "I don't know if I'm ready" She said her voice shaking, Roman smiled and nodded "I'm not going to do anything you don't want to do" He opened the door and walked into the room with her.
