After all these months Mingyu decided to continue both of your study again. The first day back at university was a fresh start for both of you. Mingyu felt a newfound sense of security, knowing that you were by his side. As you walked through the campus together, the sun was shining brightly, and the atmosphere was filled with excitement and hope for the future. You couldn't help but smile as you realized that this was the beginning of a new chapter in your lives.

Lunch time:

As Mingyu introduced you to his friends, a wave of shock and confusion washed over you. It was a pleasant day on campus, and the sun's warm rays should have made you feel at ease, but instead, an unsettling sensation began to creep over you.

First, there was Jeonghan. The same Jeonghan who had once pursued you relentlessly, who had tried to win your affection in ways that felt unsettling at times. Seeing him here, as one of Mingyu's friends, was like a surreal twist in the plot of your life. It felt as though the lines between your past and present were blurring.

Then, there was Hoshi, another familiar face from your earlier encounters. He, too, had shown an unusual interest in you, causing you to feel uncomfortable in his presence. Now, here he was, standing alongside Jeonghan and Mingyu, as though they were old buddies.

But it wasn't just them. As Mingyu continued with the introductions, you saw a flurry of faces and names. Each one triggered something deep within your memory, and it was overwhelming. The more he talked, the more these memories surged, like distant echoes threatening to engulf you.

A sharp pain pierced your head, and you instinctively brought a hand to your temple, hoping to alleviate the growing headache. The images in your mind remained blurry, fragmented recollections of moments you couldn't quite grasp. It was as though a part of your past was locked away, and these introductions had somehow rattled the cage.

Mingyu, ever the observant one, noticed your discomfort. Concern filled his eyes as he reached out to steady you. "Are you okay?" he asked, his voice filled with worry.

You tried to muster a reassuring smile, but the pain in your head was too distracting. "I... I think I just need some fresh air," you managed to reply, your voice quivering.

Mingyu nodded, understanding the need for a moment of respite. He guided you away from the group, leaving his friends with confused expressions. As you stepped away, you couldn't help but wonder what those blurred memories meant. why did these familiar faces trigger such a visceral reaction within you?

The campus, usually a place of comfort and familiarity, suddenly felt like a labyrinth of unanswered questions. And you knew that to find the truth, you would have to navigate the maze of your own memories.

"Did I meet them before? Did something happen?" you ask suddenly, your voice tinged with a mixture of curiosity and concern.

Your question hung in the air, a heavy weight between you and Mingyu. His nervousness was palpable, his gaze momentarily shifting away before he met your eyes again.

Mingyu took a deep breath, his fingers gently brushing a strand of hair away from your face.
"Yes," he finally admitted, his voice low and filled with regret.
"You've met them before, and something did happen. But I promise, I'll tell you everything when the time is right. Right now, what's most important is your well-being."

His words left you with more questions than answers, but you could see the sincerity in his eyes. It was clear that he was carrying a heavy burden, and he genuinely wanted to protect you from whatever memories were lurking in your mind.

You nodded, a sense of trust in Mingyu growing despite the mysteries that surrounded your memories.
"Okay," you replied softly. "I trust you. When you're ready, you can tell me everything."

Mingyu gave you a relieved smile, his fingers entwining with yours.
"Thank you," he said, his thumb gently caressing the back of your hand. "For understanding."

You smiled and gave a kiss on his cheek. Then went back to the cafeteria where his friends were.

Returning to the cafeteria with Mingyu, you were greeted by a group of friendly faces, each one eager to get to know you better. These were the friends Mingyu had spoken of, the ones you felt a strange sense of familiarity with, yet couldn't quite place.

Seungcheol welcomed you warmly. His presence exuded confidence and reliability, making you feel at ease. "It's a pleasure to finally meet you," he said with a warm smile. "Mingyu's told us so much about you."

Next to Seungcheol was Joshua, a kind-hearted and gentle soul. He extended his hand to you and spoke in a soft, reassuring voice. "Don't be shy!!!we're all friends here. Mingyu talks about you a lot, you know."

Junhui, with his playful spirit and a mischievous glint in his eye, winked and said, "Welcome to the gang, we're all thrilled to have you here."

Woozi, in contrast, was a quiet and reserved presence. He nodded in your direction, a subtle smile playing on his lips. His eyes, though calm, held a depth of wisdom that intrigued you.

The tall and enigmatic Wonwoo gave you a polite nod. He didn't say much, but his observant gaze made you feel like he was taking in every detail about you.

Then there was Vernon the embodiment of youthful energy. He flashed you a bright grin and said, "Mingyu's talked so much about you that we feel like we already know you."

As the lively conversation continued, you were introduced to two more members of Mingyu's friend group, Dino and DK.

Dino, the youngest of the bunch, had an infectious enthusiasm that was hard to resist. He greeted you with an enthusiastic high-five and a wide grin. "Hey there, nice to meet you! Mingyu hyung has been talking about you non-stop."

DK, with his bright personality and a knack for humor, chimed in, "Yeah, seriously, it's like Mingyu's personal record got stuck on your name."

Their easygoing nature and friendly banter added an extra layer of warmth to the group. Mingyu, who had been somewhat nervous about how you'd all get along, visibly relaxed as he watched you fit right in with his friends.

Throughout the meal, you learned more about each person, their quirks, They laughed, they teased, and they genuinely cared about one another. They made you feel like you belonged .It became clear that these friendships were built on trust, respect, and a lot of shared memories. As the hours passed, your initial reservations about Hoshi and Jeonghan faded further into the background, replaced by a growing sense of belonging and acceptance within this tight-knit circle.

With each friendly smile and welcoming gesture, you couldn't help but feel grateful for the chance to be a part of this group, even if you still couldn't shake the strange, elusive memories that lingered at the edges of your consciousness.

Hoshi and Jeonghan, who had initially left you with a sense of unease, surprised you with their warmth and friendliness. Hoshi's energetic spirit was infectious, and Jeonghan, despite his previous intentions, treated you with nothing but respect.

In that moment, surrounded by new friends and the man you were growing to love, you felt a sense of hope that the answers to your questions would eventually reveal themselves. For now, you were content to enjoy the warmth of these friendships.
