The wind blew another day in Musutafu, on the outskirts, the sound of galloping could be heard as a black steed ran along the border seemingly in a direction. This horse was a magnificent sight, children and adults alike looking from their windows marveled at this graceful animal. Its steps marked on the ground it walked as it sped up, reaching a signal of smoke on a hill outside the city.

The horse huffed as it stopped in its tracks, having reached its destination it walked slowly towards the smoke, smoke that came out of a small campfire that was still dying down from the night before. The horse approached the figure that was sitting beside the fire, putting its head down as if looking for comfort or a sign acknowledging it was there. "Good boy Grim." The figure says, gaining a sound of approval from the horse. The figure looked like a young man, yet his appearance told a long story. His crimson eye penetrated what was left of the fire, looking at it as if waiting for it to end, his other eye covered by an eye patch made out of a leather dyed black, covering the empty socket hidden behind it. The wind moved the figure's hair lightly, its white locks swinging from side to side in front of the covered eye.

The figure finally stands up, the only thing left from the fire being ashes. He reaches to the horse, which was named Grim, patting its mane gently which Grim responds with a content sound. The figure, whose name is Keeper, goes inside a black tent that looks worn out, having been used for what looks like decades. He comes out sporting a top hat and cleaning the crumbs from his dinner from his black vest. This figure had been seen by many but not for long, a badly drawn picture having been shown in various channels, news, and others, even in posters across the city. The posters read "Wanted: Dead or Alive: The Clear Death." A sign of Keeper's past as a bounty hunter and mercenary, due to it hiding away in the outskirts, the name of The Clear Death is merely a simple legend amongst the townsfolk.

Keeper took out a small newspaper out of his vest, an article about the well-renowned school in that same city. U.A. is a tall building seen from every corner of the city, the place where heroes are born, most of the famous ones coming out of them. Something that intrigued Keeper, could he use his powers for good? Could he even control them properly? He wandered to himself before re-reading the article about the new year for the U.A. starting, the exam done to enter it is that same day. Keeper smirks at the sight of the date and leaves the newspaper in his tent, turning to Grim. He pats its back and gets on top of it. "Let's go Grim." He says softly as he starts to ride towards the school.

The ride there is uneventful, many children turning their heads in awe as they saw the man riding a horse through the streets, many stopped by to pet it whenever Keeper stopped at a red light, something he found amusing and reminded him of his younger self. As he got close he started seeing the many students who were hoping to get into the institution, he slowly rode through the entrance, convincing the small guard to let him through with the horse, the students all turned to the sound of the horse's slow walk, seeing the imposing guy standing atop it, he seemed their age yet his scars would say otherwise. Keeper gets off his horse, and as he does so he whistles, Grim dematerializing into thin air, leaving a lot of the wannabe students shocked and wondering if this guy's quirk was related to summoning animals.

Keeper didn't care about the attention, merely opening the door to the building and attending the assigned meeting room for the exam's briefing. He decided to stay upward in the room, better view, and a better exit. He sat down alone, having arrived quite early, he watched the room as it filled with beings, people with apparent quirks like animalistic body parts or other bodily things, he searched around, trying to identify any threats to his mission of completing the exam but there was nothing. He looked down, seeing what he assumed were the teachers, a slim tall blonde one being the only one standing up, he recognized him as the pro hero Present Mic, a man with the ability to amplify his voice, most likely the one who would explain the entrance exam due to his quirk.
