Chapter 14

"Guys! I haven't seen you in forever!" Harry's loud voice filled the house.

"Sorry but I'm not sure who you are stranger?" I heard Louis say, being the huge directioner I was I knew exactly who was who just by their voices.

"You're funny." Harry answered him.

Hellos where exchanged between the boys but I still stood at the top of the staircase too scared to walk down. Quickly I ran to the guest bathroom and looked in the mirror. Makeup, check. Outfit, check. Hair, check. Scars, well there was nothing I could do about those. Standing in the mirror I decided to give myself a pep talk to calm my nerves.

"You got this Lilly. They will love you! You're cool, nice, pretty. I mean what else is there? Wow you sound cocky right now! Concentrate Lil, pep talk! Go! You're now part of the 1D girlfriend club I mean come on this is what you've always wan.."

My self motivation pep talk was cut off by laughter coming from behind me. I closed my eyes as I felt my face turn beet red, pivoting I turned to see who the suspicious laughter belonged to. Niall.

"Wow this is really awkward." I said breaking the silence.

He was still laughing when we answered me, "no it was great! Pep talks really work don't they?"

I hopped up onto the counter and looked down smiling and shaking my head. "They do, but not when the person you're doing it for catches you! I'm Lilly by the way!" I introduced myself sticking out my hand for him to shake it.

Ignoring my hand he pulled me in for a tight hug instead. He smelt how warm felt, very welcoming and comfortable.

"I know who you are Lilly, we've met you just don't remember." His thick Irish accent filled the room.

"Oh ya the whole memory lose thing, I almost forgot."

He started to laugh causing his face to turn a light shade of red. "That's funny because 'memory lose' and 'you almost forgot' and like you forget stuff when you lose your memory! Haha you get it?"

I caught on to the joke and started to laugh just as hard as him. It wasn't even that funny but at the same time it was hilarious!

"Shit I didn't even notice! I'm funny!"

"Ya ya! Now lets go down stairs, the guys are probably wondering what's taking so long! I mean that is unless you wanna finish your pep talk?" He tilted his head and smiled at me. I hit his arm while running out of bathroom. Laughing as we both departed down the stairs I was stopped by a huge hug. Stumbling to catch my balance I looked up to find Louis next to me.

"Lilly! It's so wonderful to see you up and alive!"

"Nice one Lou, great way to introduce yourself! I'm Liam by the way!"

Liam came up and embraced me in a hug too.

"Ya that was really a great start." Harry added in laughing.

"Actually if you think about it I didn't even introduce myself yet so fuck off boys!" Lou said laughing and flipping off the boys.

"I'm Louis."

"Trust me I know!" I joked.

Last was Zayn, he walked over to me and just like the rest of the boys hugged me tight. His hug was different though, it was almost empathetic.

"I'm Zayn, it's a pleasure."

"Lilly." I smiled back to him.

Harry walked over to me and stood behind me, his arms wrapping around my waist. Slowly he leaned in and kissed my neck, I turned it slightly to give him a better angle.

"Oh ya I forgot, the whole 'cock block' thing. I mean we can wait here if you wanna finish up!" Lou joked winking at us.

Everyone laughed, all eyes on us.

"It's alright Lou, I mean you only kinda gave me blue balls. But I mean I can wait until later."

Harry winked at me. Laughing I walked over to the fridge to get a water bottle.

"If you're lucky Styles." I yelled at him.

"Ooooo's" came from all the guys and I smiled drinking from my water. Once swallowed I looked at all of them.

"So what are we doing tonight bitches?"

They all laughed and looked up at me.

"It's up to you girl." Niall answered.

"Ok well it's super cliche but uhh what about clubbing? I have a fake ID I'm dying to use?"

Laughter broke out simultaneously from all the guys.

"I think we're going to be good friends Lilly." Lou smiled.
