8. WORST IN THE EAST

When we'd got to the village the Sun had come up. The whole town was burnt. Nothing left but the old structure setups. "Arlong did this? Why?" Sanji asked and this was cruel. He'd made people homeless, just like Buggy.

"To punish the villagers. And to punish me." Nami said to us tears in her eyes. That's when all the villagers came around. "What's going on?" She asked the guy in charge.

"Nojiko told us about your sacrifice. We didn't know. Can you ever forgive us?" He asked her and she looked at him.

"There's nothing to forgive. Coco Village is my home." She said to him, it always would be. Like how we were always her crew.

"Then it's our turn to sacrifice. We're done living in fear. We're gonna match on Arlong Park. If those fishmen want a fight- -" He said to her and she looked at him. That was how they get themselves killed.

"That's not a fight. That's a massacre. You will all be killed." She said to him, she was thinking the same thing as me.

"If there's no hope for us to buy our freedom, then I say we die trying to fight for it!" He said and everyone cheered behind him.

"No, everyone, please! No, I...I won't let you do that. This is my fight." Nami said to them and it wasn't just hers. It was ours as well.

"No. This is our fight. Right, guys?" Luffy asked us all.

"There's no way I'm letting you do this alone." I said to Nami while putting my hand on her shoulder.

"Finally, I get to cut something." Zoro said and I'd be okay as long as he didn't get sliced again.

"But how are we gonna beat Arlong? We saw what he did at Baratie." Usopp said but me and Zoro didn't. I missed out on that.

"Every creature has a weakness." Zoro said to us and he was right and we find it.

"Even bulletproof ones?" Usopp asked us and there would be a workaround that.

"I'll know it when I see it. And when I do, I won't hesitate." Luffy said to us and I nodded at him.

"Then we better start thinking this out and fast." I said to them, I don't think it would be long until Arlong would be back to finish the job. And once we made it to Arlong Park that's when the smoke bombs came in. We then got the gate open. This was it.

"Fishmen! Stans by to repel boarders!" One of them shouted and we all got ready to battle.

"Where's Arlong?" Luffy asked us.

"He's probably in the map room." Nami said to us and that was it.

"Then that's where we're going." Luffy said and I stayed with Zoro. We gave each other a quick kiss.

"You better not get hurt again." I said to him and he looked at me. I knew what he was thinking about.

"The same goes for you, this goes both ways." He said before we started to fight. Sanji, Zoro, Usopp and I. Luffy and Nami went to see Arlong. I'd help tackle a few of them, helping where I could. That's when I noticed that Usopp was gone. I saw that a guy was sneaking up behind Zoro but Sanji took him down. "I had that one." Zoro said to him. They were not about to do this.

"If you had him, I wouldn't have got him." Sanji said as I joined them on the stone platform. Putting a hand on both of their shoulders.

"Boys, there's no time for that now." I said to them before we went back to battle. As I was fighting someone I felt a pain in my arm. I'd been struck but that wouldn't stop me from fighting.

"Y/n, you're bleeding." I heard Zoro say as he had just finished battling someone.

"I'm okay, Zoro. Don't worry about me." I said to him and I saw him get down. "Go easy." I said to him.
