Report 2: The team comes together!

Four weeks later..

Kanazawa Girls Academy Auditorium

After-School

"..Why am I the one who had to do the Speech..?" Miyuki groaned as she looked down at herself, making sure she looked somewhat presentable "You guys sure this is gonna work..?" She looked back at her friends who were there for moral support "I've been practicing.."

"Oh you'll be fine, trust me!" Mem smiled widely as she walked up to her "You look fine enough. But.." She reached into her bag and pulled out a pair of reading glasses and put them on Miyuki, then fixing her hair a bit "There we go! Now you're ready!"

"You look good enough to me!" Ruth gave her a thumbs up "..Now go out there and recruit us some members!"

"Y-Yeah! I'll do my best!" Miyuki smiled some as she walked out onto the stage and up to the podium "Uhm.. I really don't know how to start this but, I'm Miyuki Dumas, one of your fellow students. I have come to talk to you today about recruitment for a club! As we all know, the club recruitment season is coming to an end here at Kanazawa Girls Academy, so if you haven't decided yet, or want to change after what I have to say to you today, please do so quickly!"

Miyuki went quiet again before a picture of the school's five tanks popped up on a screen behind her "As you know, The school has reinstated Tankery this year, as the commander of the tankery team, I am not ashamed to say that we are very low on members. So that's why I am here to ask all of you to join the tankery club! We'll make a run for the championship next tournament, and I would love for you to join us in this adventure!"

But, unfortunately so far no one looked particularly excited about joining the club

Miyuki groaned into the microphone as she pulled out a clipboard, moving her glasses "..As a Tankery member you'll get 35 excused absences, 10 homework passes, and 5 extra credits.." The Auditorium then erupted into cheers, much to Miyuki's dismay "We will have our first practice session at 6:30pm." She stepped to the side and bowed before walking off the stage.

"That could've gone better but in all honesty what did I expect.." Miyuki walked back towards her friends and took the glasses off and slid them back over to Mem "But who knows how many will show up.. I'm hoping for a few at least."

"You gotta have more confidence in yourself! You did amazing put there!" Mem smiled brightly "..You guys get thrown under the bus!" She turned to Ruth and Svetlana "You guys have to pick out your crew!"

"People will come out in droves to join my crew! Once I tell them my great great grandfather was one of the people who started the great communist revolution! And you could've told them they get to blow things up.." Svetlana said while looking off to the side.

"Blowing things up.." Ruth looked off into the distance for awhile before coming back to reality "Well the 76 Sherman is one of the easiest tanks to control so.. I think people will join my tank! We.. we don't talk about Suika and her tank.." Ruth muttered "Well.. We should probably get going. We have recruits to welcome."

"Ruth is right! Let's get a move on!" Miyuki walked out of the auditorium, towards the tankery practice area, her friends following right behind her

"Alright everyone! Thanks for coming out!" Miyuki was now standing on the Sturmtiger, holding a paper rolled up into a megaphone, wearing her world war two tankers uniform "I'm glad you actually decided to join us! No like actually.. Thanks a lot!" She smiled as she looked down at everyone "I'm Miyuki Dumas, Your tankery Captain! And these three girls down here are my tank commanders!" She stopped for a moment before looking down.
