Eda had asked me about the disappearances, I was freaked out by it too, though I didn't show it. Knowing that my friend..and Boscha..were kidnapped is scary. Or maybe they ran off? I don't know, they never said anything.

I was sitting on my bed, legs dangling, King was next to me, I could see him breathing slowly, his chest rising and lowering. King said 'weh' in his sleep a lot, today was no different. I had tried to sleep but all I heard was 'weh'.

It was getting hard for me to sleep at night.

Timeskip

The weekend is over, now I need to go to school. Let's hope no one else gets kidnapped. I thought sadly, I was sitting at the table, Eda had placed a griffin egg in front of me, and King was wolfing down his own food as Eda sat on the couch.

"Hoot! Hoot! It's time for school!" Said the cringy bird who never seemed to shut up. King grumbled in annoyance and let out an exaggerated sigh, which Hooty had heard, but ignored.

"Let's go!" Hooty said, managing to say in a way more high pitched voice than the last sentence he had spoke. "Be quiet!" I said, cover my ears, and King holding onto his horns. Hooty apologized, which didn't help.

I said goodbye to Eda, King, Owlbert, and Hooty. I was now walking off to Hexside. It was warm outside, the sun shone clearly in the sky, no cloud to cover it. I let out a sigh, the sun's rays beating on my skin.

It was always quiet walking to Hexside, until I made it to the front doors, where everyone was talking about their schedule, or just talking behind peoples backs, it was normal. But there was tension this time, I guess people were on edge from the disappearances. Boscha's friends had tears in their eyes.

I made my way through Hexsides front door and was greeted by my friends, Willow and Gus. "Have you heard about Viney going missing?" Gus said, turning to me with a frightened expression. "Everyone knows. How could I not?" I said, my voice slightly cracking. "Everyone's on edge." Willow added, calmly.

We all had the same class together! What a coincidence!

Amity POV

Well, now I think I have to get rid of Willow, even if it's still early. I'll just have to have the plan go through earlier than expected. Willow always acts strange, she's like me. I was sitting in my abominations class, thinking and thinking about my plan and why willow would act so strange.

I finally had an idea, I knew how to make my plan be carried out faster than expected. I just had to..kidnap Luz first, which I didn't want to happen right away. But! That could wait! Willow is so annoying, so she'd deserve this ((I'm sorry willow fans this isn't what I think about Willow 😭))

Timeskip

It was lunch now, students sat at their tables. I made my way over to Luz's table. "Hi." I said, earning a glare from Willow, but Gus didn't seem to mind me coming over. I sat down next to Luz, on the opposite side of Willow who glared at me.

I mouthed a 'what?' And Willow just looked away from me. Strange.

I had food in my tray. I brought some apple blood with me. 

"Hey guys..?" I said, wondering if someone would speak up for once. Gus and Luz looked up at me and we started a conversation while Willow just looked at her food.

I forgot what we were talking about but Gus said something about the disappearances and how it would be someone at Hexside since no one else knows those people, unless they're just kidnapping people off the streets and it's a coincidence.

Well, people are starting to suspect Hexside students. They wouldn't suspect me for Boscha's kidnap because I was 'friends' with her. 

Soon Lunch was over, the bell screamed. Me, Gus and Luz said goodbye to each other, parting ways. Willow came up to me.

Willow growled. "Don't you try to get close to my Luz." Willow spat out, as if it were venom. I stared at her blankly, not wanting to cause a seen or show my true intentions or something. But I felt something was wrong.

I sat on my bed, the Abomination Butlers entered to hand me my homework or other things I needed to do/finish by tomorrow. My mom and dad were downstairs, Edric and Emira were in their own rooms.

Knock Knock. "Come in." I said, assuming it was someone, but a Abomination Butler entered, grumbled some gibberish and placed food on a table in front of me. I ate the food. 

It was getting dark outside, and I was ready to go to sleep. But I still had to do something before I could get an amazing rest. I had to go to Willow. Something about her is off, and honestly, I'm not gonna harm her I just want to know why she's like this. 

I was walking in the forest now, the way to Willows house. I always remembered the way, we used to be best friends, of course, and I would sneak of to her place so we could have sleepovers or finally hang out in peace without my Mother ruining it. 

The cold air blew on my skin, I shivered slightly, shoving my hands into my small pockets.

Then I heard a sound, twigs snapping. Branches blew more aggressively in the wind. Confused on what was happening, I looked to the sound where I heard the twig break, then quickly looked behind me. There was a short girl, wearing a mask. She looked like Willow..she was Willow. I wasn't a stupid idiot.

"Willow." I said. "Why are you here?" Willow responded, "I was going to come to you." Willow said, with a sinister smile. I rolled my eyes, an idiot who thought she could kill me, how pathetic.

"You know." I said, taking my hands out of my pockets, "I'm stronger than you. I know more than you." I looked Willow up and down. Willow wore a sweater, a completely black one so she could blend in with the night, the hood over her head. Her mask was painted green, and there was barely any holes in it for breathing, the holes for the eyes were small too, I assumed she dp couldn't see as well.

"Times have changed, Blight. I'm stronger than when we last fought." Willow said, though I knew it wasn't true, I smiled, then laughed at her. Willow just growled, and attempted to jump on me, she was so slow, it was as if she was jumping in slow-motion. I just moved out of her way, making her run into a tree.

"Well, might as well." I said, picking the girl up. I knew she was unconscious because of her uncomfortable and shallow breathing.

I took her back to my home, quietly entering so my parents of Edric and Emira wouldn't ask me why I was holding Willow. I grabbed the key around my neck, carefully opening the basement door, and entering the room where my past two victims used to reside. "Have a good nights sleep!" I said happily, as I left Willow, tied to the chair.
