I went back to my town after a week's holiday. Alynn had told me that they had intended to stay there for weeks to end, but news gotten to her father that the vampires, were coming to the village that week. Sadly.
They are the monsters, the new gods, silently usurping our old gods, the new royalty, the kidnappers, like I always liked to name them. They had stolen my mother, taken her away from me out of her will. I will always remember her no matter what. No matter what anyone says.
Forget your mother as she has forgotten you child. She'll never come back, nor will she remember you.
The carriage arrives, in the mist of the glowing sunset. They don't come out yet, no one expect them to, we all wait. Silently, the evening turns to dusk, and then, in a blink of an eye, night time arrives. Then do they flow out like a gushing waterfall, there was two womans, one decked in a blood red dress, the other in a midnight blue dress, eyes murderous, watching us as if we were disposable as practise, Alynn shivers beside me, Ein squeezes my hand and shoots me a reassuring look, a man the comes out, dressed in black suit his eyes flickers around, then it rests on Alynn's eyes, and Alynn shifts uncomfortably and puts her arm around my shoulders. I shift silently.
Then another vampire comes out. They seem to be seemingly neither, looking like a man with robes, but has long hair like a women. They announced: " Welcome to the Founding, you're really blessed to have been chosen." Everyone around me seemingly nods, faces looking eager. Apparently only Alynn, Ein and me seemed to think of the vampires as monsters and Gods of stupidity, which is really true in my context. They all look around in displease, unlike the silver vampire who seem to welcome us with smiles. I prefer the silver best I suppose. At least he looks friendly and inviting. All the vampires suddenly turn to me. I frowned at them, suspiciously. Then the black vampire started to speak, "Open your boxes, put the black paper in this box here, Valkyrie," He said signaling to the women in midnight blue, "Will collect your white papers, and Claudia," He said signaling to the women in red, " Will collect the chosen ones." Then at the same time, everyone started to fumbled around with their box, opening it quickly. The black vampire went down the row, collecting only one piece of paper, approaching me. I held out my black paper, much to his surprise. Alynn held a black too, whereas Ein held a white. Ein seemed dumbstruck, he looked at me with cute puppy eyes, about to cry. Now I can't understand why I agreed to date him any longer. He was every girl's dream, now, it didn't seem like it.
Then, I spotted something white and pale floating near the fountain, something no one seemed to notice. Vivi. How? Vivi? She was Dead...Then...How was she here? I frowned in confusion, eyes threatening to water. Then all hell broke loose for me and tears flushed down my pale pink cheeks like a waterfall. Ein noticed me crying and patted my head," Ern, are you okay? What's wrong?" Then, I felt something soft brush against my arm, I spun around, and noticed them holding out their handkerchief for me. I took it gratefully, gratitude shinning in my eyes. Wiping my eyes, I noticed that Vivi had moved closer to me, "Do not cry sister, it is really me. I will stay with you. Will you avenge me? I was really murdered indeed." She said with much distaste in her voice Vivi... "Yes it's me sis" If I avenge you, will I ever see you again? " If you think of it, yes. I am part of you, always. So, therefore invisible to anyone else. No worries about that sis."
All the vampires were looking at me in confusion, as if I am a puzzle they have to solve. I guess I can't blame them. It's not like I understand myself, nor my powers, people have been calling me a freak since small, a freak. My real name had already been lost in the waves of time. Now it is Ern and only Ern. I can't even remember my real name any longer. I have gave up trying to remember it. I have let it go a long time ago.
Where nightmares are all real, so try not to cry
Okay I take it back I really don't mind
No escape
Oh-Whoa-Oh
From your fate
No-Ooh
