"But mom, why don't we go somewhere near the sea?!", I asked pleadingly. "Come on, you go to the beach every day, why not change the enviroment for a while?", she argumented. "It doesn't bother me!", I protested, "Remember the Frozen movie?". Wakko was right behind me and clenched my arm.

"Y/n, don't be childish", mom warned me, "People don't have superpowers, and you're not addicted to the sea. So a little change won't do anything to either one of you". "We'll all have to stick together", I kept arguing. "No we won't", she replied, "You'll be able to have some time for yourselves". I finaly sighed in defeat and looked at Wakko, "Guess we have no choice". He nodded with worry on his face.

So the next day, early in the morning, we took all of our packed up things and drove off, up to the mountains. Since we had a lot of things, my parents put them in the backseat, so Wakko had to sit on my lap.  For the first part of the journey, we had to drive close to the sea. The drive was about three hours long. And not even 30 minutes into the drive, this song started playing on the radio.

Si tu me quieres

Dame una sonrisa

Si no me quieres

No me hagas caso

Pero si ahora

Tu me necesitas...

I put my hands on his legs and stared out the window, into the sea. That whole position made my stomach twist. It took me some time to process all of the things that formed the situation. Then I could look back at him. Right when I did, the second verse started.

Si no te gusto, no me digas nada

Que tu silencio me diga todo

Pero si te gusto, dame una mirada...

Wakko looked at me and gave me a slight smirk, "You like it?". I stared at him, my brain blocked from the impression. "Oh, shut up", I playfully whispered, smiling back like an idiot, trying to hold in a laugh. I looked back at the window, wondering what was happening to  me. As much as I felt that delight again, I couldn't stop thinking it all seemed like what they call forbiden fruit to me.

We parked the car on the bottom of the mountain and started climbing up. "And what are we going to do there?", I asked, confused. "Whatever you want", said mom, "Lunch is at noon, so you have about two hours". "We can play something all together", dad suggested. "Great idea", mom agreed. I didn't say anything, because I couldn't complain. It was the least they could do to get me away from my emotions.

We reached the top and set the things down. Dad got out a big blanket and got out some cards. "We're going to play rummy", said mom. Wakko sighed in relief, "At least it's not go fish". I chuckled, only I knew why he had said that. We sat down and started playing. Those two hours we had went by pretty quickly because we didn't stop playing. All this time, while Wakko was staying at our place, mom literaly forbade me to do anything on my phone, let alone watch the show. So when I had nothing to do, I'd be quite bored.

I had brought the book I was reading, so after lunch Wakko and I sat down for me to read it out loud. Wakko had told me that it wasn't ok if he couldn't interrupt me, that it didn't make sense. So I promised him we could comment after I finished. "See that view in front of us?", I asked after reading. He nodded. "That's kind of how I imagine the place described in the book", I continiued. "Great", he gave me the widest smile he could.

Are you trying to tease me again or what?!

I didn't say it out loud because I had a feeling it would upset him and I really didn't feel like joking around anyway. I put the book aside and we layed down to rest for a while. "Sure it is", I replied, "When you see your imaginary place in real life". After a few minutes I spoke up again, "I want to ask you something". "Yeah?". "Does the sun bother you?". He was silent for awhile, then replied, "No".

About an hour passed and we got bored so we started playing tag and tickling eachother again because honestly, it was the only thing we could think of. That, on the other hand, lasted for a few hours. Until... my parents called us. And I knew we were in for a terrible situation. We came there and saw them getting something out. "You need to help us set the tents", mom announced. My eyes wandered all ovevr the place as I tried to make up a reaction.

"What're you looking for?", mom asked. I glanced back at her and saw her smiling at me. I sighed helplessly, "Fine, we'll do it". So we started setting the tents up. My heart started racing when we finished with one tent and moved on to the second. But I still had hope for mom and dad to make a smart plan and devide us in an acceptable way. In each tent, there was a big mattress so we could get comfortable. However, my hope was too strong to be prooven right.

"Dad and I are sleeping in one tent, and you guys in the other".
