[NAME]'S POV
I heard maniacal laughing, and screams of pain, never in my life had I felt so weak.

I heard blood dripping and spilling.

I couldn't take it any longer, I took off the bag I had on my back and pulled out the briefcase that held my quinque and ran up to where the screams were coming from.

"THAT'S ENOUGH!!" I yelled "Of all the ghouls I've ever seen and met- you're the worst" I scowled, I wasn't going to attack her head on, I was going to protect Kaneki.

"And who are you? Oh? Dove." She smirked deviously. Her kagune raised on both sides and tried to hit me but I was able to deflect them continuously.

"You're not bad, human, but try to dodge this!" She yelled, I began running around dodging her attacks when one of them got me.

She grabbed my leg and pulled me down to the ground and dragged me. "HAHAHAHAHAHA!! I'VE GOT YOU NOOOWWWW!" She laughed crazily and threw me into the air, I lost grip of my quinque. I move my hands around trying to take grasp my weapon once more but to no avail.

Rize thrusted all four tails of her kagune through my shoulders, upper chest, and about a quarter-way through my neck, I felt blood filling my lungs. I fell to the ground...hard. I couldn't feel anything.

Death...seemed like the best option at this point.

I heard wires snap as I opened my eyes, hard metal bars and other objects raining from the sky.

I saw my quinque out the corner of my eye as I grabbed it at the last second and held it up from my chest which broke down the weight of the collision but it still hit me extremely hard... The last thing I heard...

Sirens?

AMON'S POV
I woke up late this morning. "Shit, I'm gonna be late." I got out of my bed and ran down to the kitchen to see a note left on the bench.

Dear Amon,
I've recently had a hunch that someone in the 20th Ward is a ghoul, I'm guessing she's going on a date with a boy I saw at the Anteiku Coffee Shop, I'm gonna follow them around all day to confirm my suspicions and bring it to CCG. If I haven't texted you whether this was a fail or success by 8:00pm then something's gone wrong.
Don't worry about me, I've got my quinque with me and I'll keep my guard up

Could he not worry me more?! But...it's an investigation, still, I don't trust him going out after the incident with the binge eater in the 20th Ward. I sighed. Nothing I can do about it now though. He must be serious about this though...hmm.
