Summary

One of the things he loved to do with his beloved is playing horror games together, cuddling on the sofa with a blanket wrapped around them, staying just slightly above normal sleeping hours, getting scared, screaming– Well... She was mostly the one who did the screaming part. Cuddles and kisses afterwards, it was one of their ways to spend time together since they first started dating. Dan always loved watching her get scared on his lap and today is another night like that as his love finally got a game she wanted to try for a very long time. He wondered how long she could hold the controller on her own.

"Hiroki~" Her voice called sweetly, she slowly approached Dan and hugged him from behind.

"Ah! My Beloved, what is it?" Dan lowered the chopstick he was holding.

"That horror game I told you last month is finally on sale! So I get it for us to play!" The lady declared happily, lifting up her head to look at him. She looks like an eager puppy, wagging her tail happily, how cute.

"Hooh~ then let's play a bit before bed" Dan turned his attention back to the lunch boxes he was preparing for the two of them, glancing back at her for a moment to see her eyes light up with excitement at his offer.

"Eh? What is that? it is so cute" She pointed out to the cut up cheese and nori he placed on top of the rice as decoration. Dan was trying to make a bunny for her. Underline on trying. At least it looks better than most of his drawings, according to Dan himself.

Dan asked with a small smile "Guess?".

He was curious if she would say a cat or something around that line, because everyone around him kept guessing that when seeing his drawings. His love looks down at the lunch boxes, trying to get a closer look at what the arrangement of cheese and nori is supposed to represent, her long pause makes him a bit nervous.

"It's–"

"Bunny!" Her voice grew with excitement

"It's bunny right? The ears are long and adorable." Dan can see sparkles in her eyes, waiting for him to praise her for her success. He can't help but chuckle at her adorable face before leaning down and placing a chaste kiss on her lips.

"Beloved knows me so well." Her face bloomed like a spring flower as soon as he pulled back, the way she was stunned for a second as her face reddened and the bashful smile that followed right after. It's one of his favorites.

"Let me help you with that too." She waddled to his side, giving her hand a quick rinse, grabbing a chopstick and joining him in assembling the lunch boxes.

"You don't have to, today it's my turn to do this."

"We are faster together! Beside I did everything I needed after dinner" She held up her chopstick proudly "The faster we do this, the faster we can play" Her smile is one of the things he can't say no to.

"Awh, Thank you, Love."

The two of them quickly finish preparing the lunch boxes, putting it in bags for each of them to carry tomorrow. Moving to the living room they quickly prepare for their game night. She goes to set up the game on their TV, while Dan pulls out the lower part of their sofa, turning it into a sofa bed where the two of them could lay down together, grabbing a blanket and one random plushie his beloved loved to complete the set.

"Are you done?" Dan peered at his love who was still fiddling with the laptop, she jolted from his words, not realizing he was getting closer to her just now.
