His beloved found one of her favourite rings she used to wear back then, Dan decided to join her admiring it while remembering how he once borrowed it from her for a very long time. Wanting to repeat it again once more.
"Oya? Isn't that your old ring, My beloved?" Dan sits beside the love of his life as he speaks, looking at her left ring finger, their wedding ring sits at the root of her finger and right on top of it, a ring with a beautiful cyan gemstone on top of it.
"It is~ I found it when cleaning, it still sparkles as beautifully as I remember it" Dan chuckled at her words, seeing how her face lit up at the sight of it, how her eyes sparkling as beautiful as the very gemstone she is admiring.
"You used to have so many of those accessories don't you? Some people think you were married because you wear this ring on your left ring finger back then" Dan reached up to her hand tangling his fingers with her lovingly, her hand looks so perfect in his hold.
"Really? I didn't know it was seen that way" Her giggles fill the room like the sound of wind chimes, her body naturally leans to him as they snuggle close.
"That's right!" His love said suddenly, looking at him.
"When you asked about this ring, you ended up borrowing it for months didn't you!"
Dan chuckle remembering that memory as if it happened yesterday.
"I did, it fit perfectly with me too, don't you agree?"
"Hmm...I think the band is too small for you, But the gemstone do fit with you perfectly, it have the same colour as your eyes" As if trying to proof her point, she lifted up her hand to have her ring on the same level of his eyes.
"Yep, sparkling like a beautiful gemstones"
"I think... your eyes sparkle more beautifully than any gemstone, My beloved" Dan traced his finger to the line of her jaw, gently guiding her to face him properly. Her flustered face, her slightly shocked expression, clear hitched breath and pouty lip that try to not be affected by his words and pretend to sulk, such an adorable expression. He loved it.
"Hiroki is such a tease" She look away from him to hide her blush, something that prompt him to lean in and kiss her cheek lovingly, resulting in her adorable protest.
"Back then... you do wear it almost everywhere don't you? my peers were asking me about it... Isn't the ring Dan-san wear yours?, Did you make him wear it?.... and things like that" She recover from her embarrassment by changing topic, waving her hand in dismissive manner between them.
"Hooh~ so you were asked about it" Dan spoke in a faux realization, knowing full well about that incident. "So, that's why you keep asking it back?"
"Honestly! It was so much effort to get it back from you, Hiroki. You really trying to kept it for yourself" His dearest poked him on the cheek in a teasing manner, the two of them giggling with each other at her mischievous behaviour.
"It is a beautiful ring, my beloved, I can't help myself wanting it for myself"
"At least actually ask it instead of saying you borrow it, Silly Hiroki"
She goes back looking at her rings, smiling a giddy smile at it. Dan meanwhile is busy staring at her beaming face, loving the expression she is showing, when an idea pop up in his brain.
"Say, beloved, will you let me borrow it again? Your ring, I want to wear it"
"Huh?.. Oh! Sure, of course, Hiroki!" She quickly takes the ring off from her ring finger, holding his hand for a moment wondering where she could fit it, like a small curious creature. After a few second his love gently slid the ring to his finger, testing it first on his ring finger before settling on his pinkie instead. Her old gem ring are now seated side by side with his wedding band, Dan finds himself smiling at the sight.
"Ahh~ It looks so pretty on your skin~" She complimented sweetly, holding his hand up with both of hers to admire it "Do you want to wear it everywhere like back then, Hiroki? even your workplace?"
"Yes!... in fact there is a specific place I want to go to while wearing it right now" Dan hold her hands back gently, smiling to himself.
"Right now? where you going, Hiroki?"
"Fufu~... Somewhere you need to come along with" Saying that he prompt her to stand up from their sofa, one hand holding hers while the other slid down to held her by the waist, bringing her to be pressed against his body. His beloved face can be seen dusted with a slight red as she walked together with him, to somewhere very special for them both. .

I didn't spend at least 2 months to update chapter yay! Improvement! This fanfic actually happen because I was telling my friend about a random idea and they asked why I didn't draw it, because I clearly can draw. A few hours of thinking + drawing-- and there goes this new chapter!. It really was an extremely short one meant to compliment a drawing idea, regardless I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did writing and drawing it!
