Bibble I don't like you...

Elina was a kind-hearted flower fairy who lived in the enchanting realm of Fairytopia. She had a gentle spirit and cherished her friendships with all the creatures and fairies that called this magical place their home. Among her dearest friends was Bibble, a playful and quirky puffball with a heart as big as the meadows.

Elina had always known that Bibble had a special fondness for her. He would often bring her colorful blooms and share funny stories, his eyes lighting up with excitement whenever she was near. Elina valued their friendship immensely and loved spending time with Bibble, but there was something she had been hesitant to share with him.

You see, Elina had discovered something about herself that made her a little different from her fairy friends. She realized that she was asexual and aromantic, which meant that she didn't experience romantic or sexual attraction to anyone, regardless of how wonderful they were as a friend.

One sunny day, Bibble approached Elina with a bouquet of radiant blossoms. His furry body wobbled with excitement as he asked, "Elina, would you go on a date with me? I really like you, and I want you to see me as more than just a friend."

Elina knew that this was the moment she needed to be honest with Bibble, but she didn't want to hurt his feelings. She cared for him deeply and didn't want to lose his friendship.

"Of course, Bibble," she replied with a gentle smile. "I'd love to go on a date with you."

Bibble's tiny wings fluttered with delight, and he let out a joyful chirp. "Thank you, Elina! You won't regret it!"

As the day of their date approached, Elina couldn't help but feel conflicted. She knew that she couldn't reciprocate romantic feelings, but she didn't want to disappoint Bibble, who had so much hope and enthusiasm for their special day together.

On the day of their date, Elina and Bibble set out on an adventure through the meadows of Fairytopia. They danced among the blossoms, shared laughter, and even enjoyed a picnic beneath a giant toadstool. Bibble's eyes sparkled with happiness, and Elina couldn't help but smile at his boundless joy.

But as the day went on, Elina began to sense that something was amiss. She realized that Bibble was trying hard to impress her, and it made her uncomfortable. She valued their friendship and didn't want to mislead him into thinking she had romantic feelings.

Finally, as the sun dipped below the horizon, Elina found a moment of courage to speak her truth. She sat down beside Bibble and gently held his furry paw.

"Bibble," she began, her voice filled with tenderness, "I need to tell you something important. You are one of the dearest friends I have ever had, and I cherish our friendship deeply. But I want to be honest with you. I am aromantic and asexual, which means I don't experience romantic or sexual attraction."

Bibble looked at her with a mixture of surprise and understanding. "So, you don't like me romantically?"

Elina shook her head, her flower crown gently swaying. "I care for you very much, Bibble, but not in a romantic way. I hope you can understand and still value our friendship."

Bibble took a moment to process her words, his eyes reflecting a mix of emotions. Finally, he let out a sigh and smiled warmly at Elina. "Elina, I appreciate your honesty. I value our friendship more than anything, and I don't want anything to change between us. Friends forever?"

Tears of relief welled up in Elina's eyes as she embraced Bibble tightly. "Friends forever, Bibble."

As they sat there, beneath the moonlight, Elina and Bibble shared a moment of pure friendship, knowing that their bond was unbreakable. Elina had been true to herself, and Bibble had shown incredible understanding and acceptance. In Fairytopia, where friendships were cherished above all else, theirs remained as strong as ever, a testament to the power of honesty and unconditional friendship.

Fun Fact Elina is the only Barnie that dose not fall in love (this may be wrong because I looked it up instead of watching all the Barbie movies... In my headcanon she is AroAce, so I wrote a story about it)
