Almost 2 weeks have passed without you or dewdrop talking. It would only be the occasional eye contact or wave, and if not that it had to be because copia needed you to.

Tonight was the first Ghoul game night since what happened, and everyone would be there. Everyone besides dewdrop. He laid down curled in bed, scared to go see you or the others. You had to admit, you didn't know why. You weren't mad at him, but he acted like if you saw him you'd threaten to kill him.

"Hey Y/N??? You there??" Swiss called, waving his hand in front of your face. "I get we are still waiting for Dew and Phantom to show up but it's not like you get to just not interact with us" He said, staring at you with a slight annoyed look on his face.

"Nothing, I'm just tired." You lied. Speaking of phantom, he had walked in. Without Dew.

"That's great, phantom showed up. Now all we need is Dew!" Swiss said, sounding a little happier than before. You were sat closest to the hallway which meant you knew what Swiss was gonna ask when he turned to you. You sighed and stood up, walking towards Dewdrops room.

After walking for a few minutes you came to his door. You stood outside for a second, wondering if you should try to talk to him or just get him to come hang out. He must have seen your shadow, because right before you knocked the door cracked open with a pair of amber eyes looking at you. His eyes widened a bit when he saw you, looking away for a moment. He went to close the door but you placed your foot in the way.

"Dew?.." you called quietly. No reply. "Please talk to me." It was silent again for a moment before you heard a sigh and the door opened more. As you walked in you saw the fire ghoul sitting on his bed and looking at the floor, waiting for you to talk. You both sat in silence, before the fire ghoul quietly spoke.

"Why haven't we been talking?.." he whispered.

"I... I don't know." You spoke, sounding a little sad to see him like this.

"You're mad at me." He said, sighing a little after he spoke.

"No, I'm not." You argued back, taking a step towards him. Did he think you were mad at him for what happened?

"Well, you should be. I hurt you." He spoke. He wasn't talking with any tone, it worried you. He sat so tense and awkwardly in his bed, not even looking at you.

"Listen, Dew.. I-" you sighed and took a deep breath. "If you're talking about the bite-"

"What else would I be talking about?" He cut you off. His claws were digging into his blanket below him. You swore you could feel the heat radiating off his body from where you stood.

"It wasn't your fault." You said softly, trying to slowly approach him. You knew how easy it was to anger a ghoul, especially when they were upset. You wanted to care for him, to let him know you didn't hate him.

"Then who's fault is it?" He asked, his voice shaky. You sighed and walked over to him, placing a hand on his shoulder. It hurt a little because of how hot he was, but you didn't care. You just wanted to comfort him.

You sat down next to him, leaning against him slightly. "Listen, dew, no one could have predicted what happened that day. It was a full moon, you weren't yourself." You rubbed his back gently as you tried to comfort him. "You are one of my best friends, I would never hate you for something you couldn't control." You said gently. You could feel him shaking a little. He was upset, clearly, but it seemed as if he was almost crying.

He mumbled a couple incoherently words before turning and pulling you into a hug. He buried his head in your neck, hiding his face. he had tears streaming down his face. You didnt know this was affecting him this much, If you did you would have done this a lot earlier.

You were trying your best to be there for him and be patient, but you knew the others would start coming soon, and Dew would hate that. You started running your fingers through his hair to slowly calm him down until you could talk to him.

"Dew, The others are going to worry.." You whispered.

He lifted his head up to look you in the eyes, tiredly. "I dont feel like playing games all night.." he sighed. "i just wanna stay with you.." he murmured.

you smiled softly at him and placed a kiss at the top of his head. "let me go tell the others atleast, you should go change and wash your face." you recommended, slowly pulling out of the hug. He nodded and yawned, shooting you a smile and walking into his bathroom.

You stood there for a few moments, reflecting on what happened before you went to talk to the others. Swiss was a little upset but happy to see you guys talking agaim. Everyone understood and wished you guys a goodnight. The night ended with you and Dew cuddling yourselves to sleep
