"Reading aloud"AN: this one-shot takes place in third year, fortunately or unfortunately for the story I'm not going to have to Tri-wizard tournament.ʘ‿ʘ
3rd POV:
Ever since Luna started attending Hogwarts, Harry started taking a great interest in her.
Like he's done with a few other people over the years.
You can often find them sitting by the Black lake on breaks.
Harry seem to have a talent for understanding the strange girl.
It would look like they were having a perfectly normal conversation, but when you come closer, you realize that they're talking about which House elf makes the best oatmeal.
Harry had also taken up the arts recently.
He started playing the guitar, drawing, painting.
Everybody around him was wondering the exact same thing.
What the f*** was going on.
Harry's POV:
I decided to draw today so I picked up my sketchbook and my art pencils, and headed out to the Black lake where Luna was already sitting.
"Hello Luna."
"Good evening Harry, what do you want to talk about today."
"I want to try and do Nargles today."
"All right, I'll try my best."
I sat down as close to her as I possibly could, without sitting on top of her.
'close proximity is necessary if I want to try this out'
Chastising myself isn't exactly what I was going for with that thought, but all right.Luna began explaining every single story that she possibly could possibly think of about nargles.
She would go off track a lot, but Harry tried his best to keep her on subject.

After about 19 stories or so he had a basic description of nargles.
The Nargle is a creature with light purple to black skin. Nargles have two thin arms and legs with long fingers and toes. Their bodies are seven inches long and three inches wide. Nargles have bat-like ears, large white eyes, pointy noses, and sharp teeth.
"Nargles like mistletoe, last Christmas-"
She stopped mid sentence when she noticed the description I wrote.
"Oh- I-is it not correct? I'll try again but-"
"No. It's very accurate, like always."
I blussed a little bit at the praise.
"Th-thanks, but I haven't actually drawn one yet..."
"That's all right, I've only told about 20 stories. I'll tell you some more it should give you a better idea, do you have any specific questions?"
"All right, ummm. I only have one, could you tell me more about the difference between male and female?... Please?"
"Of course, Harry. But as I was saying, nargles like mistletoe, last Christmas-..."
I zoned out what she was saying, and focused more on trying to write down the differences.
'Nargle boys and Nargle girls... look very sim, ilar. The only difference is... that the females are taller and, have... golden eyes...hmmmm is this good? Maybe not...'
