In the aftermath of their emotional exchange at the café, a tenuous truce formed between Win and Bright. Despite the lingering tension that hung in the air, both men felt a shift—an unspoken agreement to be more open and honest with each other. But just as they began to navigate this newfound understanding, the world around them conspired to throw them back into the fray.

It all began when Bright received an urgent call from his stepbrother Tay Tawan, who had been instrumental in running their family's fashion empire. The company had secured a high-profile collaboration with an international brand, and the launch was just around the corner. However, Tay had run into a significant problem with the marketing campaign. The initial designs had fallen flat with focus groups, and they needed fresh ideas. He wanted Bright to step in and take charge.

Bright was reluctant, knowing that diving into work would require him to put aside his personal struggles. But Tay was insistent, believing that Bright's unique vision was the key to revitalizing the campaign. After a lengthy conversation filled with familial obligation and professional duty, Bright reluctantly agreed.

"Just one more thing," Tay said, almost casually. "I need you to bring in Win Metawin. He's got a reputation for creativity and is perfect for this collaboration. Plus, his star power could really help boost the launch."

Bright's heart sank at the thought. He had barely begun to process his own feelings about Win, let alone work with him on a project that could potentially thrust them both into the limelight. "Tay, I don't think that's a good idea," he protested.

"Why not?" Tay challenged. "You've been spending time together. It might be good for both of you. Besides, we need his insight if we want this campaign to be a success."

With little choice but to comply, Bright grumbled his agreement. Tay was right—this was a business decision, and he had to focus on the work. The following day, he texted Win, trying to mask his reluctance.

Bright: Hey. Tay wants us to collaborate on the new marketing campaign for the international brand. Can we meet to discuss?

Win's response came almost instantly.

Win: Sure! When and where?

Bright felt a wave of frustration wash over him. This was not how he envisioned his time with Win going—not with the burden of work looming over them. He suggested meeting at a trendy co-working space near the river, a neutral ground where they could brainstorm without the usual distractions.

When Win arrived, he looked relaxed, dressed in a simple t-shirt and jeans, but Bright could see the glimmer of excitement in his eyes. "I'm looking forward to this," Win said, his enthusiasm palpable. "It'll be fun to work together creatively."

Bright forced a smile, but inside, he felt a tightening in his chest. "Yeah, fun."

As they settled into the vibrant workspace, surrounded by colorful art and bustling energy, Bright could see Win's mind already racing ahead. "So, what do we want to achieve with this campaign?" Win asked, pulling out a notebook.

Bright's brows furrowed. "I suppose we need to focus on the brand's identity. They want to appeal to a younger demographic—trendy, fresh, something that resonates."

"Exactly," Win said, jotting down notes. "What if we explored themes of self-expression and authenticity? Something that reflects who we are as individuals and as part of the larger fashion world?"

Bright listened, the way Win spoke igniting a spark of inspiration within him. He had always admired Win's ability to articulate his thoughts, but this was different. He felt a tug at the corners of his heart—a mix of admiration and something deeper.
