Ghoul walks down the street when he suddenly sees a kid sitting on the sidewalk curve looking depressed. " i wonder what's wrong with this kid." Thought ghoul as he began to approach the kid. " hey, are you okay ?" The kid then turned his head and jumped back as he saw ghoul's face. " dude it's okay, im not gonna hurt you, I just wanna talk, " the kid then relaxes.
" that's a relief." Said the kid as he sat back down.
Ghoul then sits next to him, " do you mind telling me what's wrong ?" Asked ghoul. " the kid then frowns.
" well I just moved here, and I really kinda hate it here." Explained the kid.
" why is that ?" Asked ghoul.
" because I miss my friends and our old house was bigger and way less creepy looking then this one, I just want things to go back to the way they were." Explained the kid.
" dude, I know how you feel, change is never easy, especially if your moving to a new place or becoming an undead hero or anything like that, hell i lost my family one by one, and now I'm forever like this never to be normal again, change will always happen at one point or another in life, rather you want it to or not, but what's important is that you adapt to the hand that has Been dealt with you, sure it may take some time but in time you'll learn the ins and outs of the new hand you been dealt.
trust me I know, I struggled for awhile when I got my powers, but in time I learned to adapt with what was dealt for me, I didn't ask to be like this, it just happened, it was fate, just like you moving here it was fate not choice, we don't always get to choose what happens next in our lives, but we can choose how we deal with them, I know it's rough, but everything will work out, I promise." The kid then looks at ghoul.
" would you want things back to the way they were if you had a choice ? " asked the kid. Ghoul,s eyes widen upon hearing that question.
" I...I don't really know." Said ghoul.
The kid then looks down, " i guess I'll give this place a chance." Said the kid.
" that's what I like to hear." Said ghoul as he smiled. " remember, anything is possible okay. " advised ghoul.
The kid nods, " okay." Said the kid.
" good, now I gotta go take care buddy." Said ghoul as he walked away.
" bye." Said the kid as he waved goodbye. Behind the kid's house a bald man in a lab coat with a black beard and goggles that look like clocks watches as ghoul walks away.
" so this undead hero no longer has a family, and does not know rather or not he seeks to return to his past huh ?, this could work perfectly for my plan of world domination. ". Said the goggled man as he crept away in ghoul's direction in the bushes.
