Chp 1 The sleepover

The day is April 7th and Gon just got back home. Gon is a 17 year old boy who is secretly a hunter. He reunited with his best friend Killua 2 years ago. Of course him and Killua were apart for 1 year which felt like a eternity to Gon. Gon decided to go to school to pass the time.

Gon is a great student really smart and a fast learner. But of course as all story's go he is bullied by the popular kids who know nothing of his hunter past. He could take them down with one finger.

As Gon puts his stuff down and heads up to his room his phone goes off. It's his best friend Killua but Gon sees him as more. Gon secretly has feelings for his best friend. But he can't tell him.

Being the only gay person in the group Gon feels he will never have his dream. The feeling of being a freak and unloved and the combination of the relentless bullying Gon receives. Made him also a depressed boy. The message from Killua reads.

Killua: hey Gon

Gon: yea

Killua: I was thinking of doing a sleepover

Gon: you wanna do it at my place

Killua: sure! Your house is bigger

Killua: and why is your house so big you live alone

Gon: it's roomy

Killua: I still don't know how you got the money

Gon: being a hunter pays off

Killua: yea it does i'll be there soon

Gon: ok

Gon lays down on his bed.

Gon feels there is only one way to cope with this kind of pain. Gon takes out a small wooden chest. And takes out a razor. Gon slowly drags the sharp blade across his skin. Gon has been doing this process for almost 4 years. It has numbed him to pain. Along with being depressed boy he was also a suicidal boy.

Around 4 minutes later a knock is heard at the door. Gon quickly puts his things away and goes to open it.

Hey Gon! Killua says, hey Killua Gon says.

Killua's pov

Gons acting weird maybe he has a test or something.

No one's pov

They go up to Gon's room. So what do you wanna do? Gon asks. I was hoping you had a idea Killua says. Gon laughs.

Killua's pov

He's so cute if only I could tell him how I feel.
I don't want to ruin our friendship.

No one's pov

Time passes and they do more things. But Gon seems to be distancing himself from Killua. I'm gonna go to the bathroom Gon says. Ok good luck Killua says while laughing. Gon does a fake laugh and goes off to the bathroom.

In the group chat without Gon

Killua: I think something's wrong with Gon

Leorio: straight to the point

Kurapika: how

Killua: so we're doing a sleepover and he's been avoiding me the entire time

Leorio: that's not like him

Killua: ever since we reunited he's seemed stranger

Kurapika: I agree

Killua: it was only a year we were apart
