Qian Ruoxi sighed as she looked at her status. She was currently resting in her room, exhausted from the spirit-hunting journey and the overly enthusiastic elders of the Spirit Hall. Well, she couldn't blame them; after all, she was the very first person who came unharmed while absorbing a limit-surpassing spirit ring. Now she could only think whether by becoming strong she could change the future or not. Or does she have to do some other thing?

She approached her study table, sat down, and began to list everything she knew about the Spirit Hall, including its flaws.

The Spirit Hall is a symbolic presence in the Douluo Continent, wielding power that exceeded that of the two great empires. It possessed the most extensive knowledge and information regarding spirits and the events unfolding across the continent. However, in the novel, Spirit Hall's leadership was often portrayed as corrupt and power-hungry, resorting to unethical methods. They exploited Spirit Masters, coercing them into servitude or using them as tools in their own schemes, even as soldiers or pawns in political plots. Compassion and empathy were conspicuously absent, with leaders prioritizing self-interest and the organization's power over the well-being of others. The Spirit Hall sought to maintain dominance through oppression, suppressing opposition and inciting conflicts. Members frequently exhibited arrogance, underestimating their opponents, and the organization didn't hesitate to take antagonistic actions, even attempting harm against protagonists and their loved ones. As a result, many characters in the story distrusted the Spirit Hall, further isolating it. These issues, one after another, ultimately led to its downfall.

Meng Yue, Qian Ruoxi's past self, had repeatedly complained about the Spirit Hall's atrocities while reading the novel in the modern world. However, currently, looking at her situation, Qian Ruoxi didn't know whether to laugh or cry. Since she had taken the oath, it was her duty to fulfill it, regardless of how challenging the situation appeared. She couldn't run away from her responsibility; she had to do everything in her power to protect her home.
