But a few minutes later, I woke up screaming and breathing heavily in the hospital bed. Me: Ahhhhhh!! Oh god! I start breathing heavily. Doctor: Woah! Easy there buddy. Laila Lockhart: Woah! Hey, Easy there Sweetheart. You were in a nightmare loop. Me: What happened? Doctor: You Just woke up from a dream loop. Me: Oh my god! I'm scared. *sobbing* Laila Lockhart: Aww, hush. Its alright sweetie.
You're safe. I've got you. Me: Laila Lockhart? Is that really you? I said this in a really shaky voice. Laila Lockhart: Yes sweetie. There's no need to be scared. I'm right beside you. Me: Where am I? Laila Lockhart: It's alright honey. You're in the hospital. You went into a coma for like 7 months. Me: Oh my god! Really? Laila Lockhart: Yeah. Do you remember anything?
Me: I was living with my Aunt and uncle who have been abusing me for the past few years and Gabby from Gabby's Dollhouse from Netflix rescued me from my abusive aunt and uncle and she took me to live with her and the Gabby cats. But then 2 years later, she died from brain cancer! *sobbing* Laila Lockhart: Oh my gosh, sweetheart. I'm so Sorry.
Come here. Laila Lockhart hugged me tightly and tried to comfort me. Lai, Lai, La, Lockhart I, I, I, I'm, so, so, so, scared. Laila Lockhart: Hey, Hey, Hey. Honey, it's alright. You're safe with me. Just try to relax. Me: Oh my god! Laila Lockhart! I'm so scared.
I don't want Gabby to die from Brain Cancer! I leaned against Laila Lockhart. Laila Lockhart: Aww. It's Okay Sweetie. Laila Lockhart then kissed me. Hey, no no no. Hush sweetie. It's alright. Don't be frightened honey. Gabby is not gonna die from brain cancer. It wasn't real. I'm right next to you. None of those little Gabby's Dollhouse episodes you had were real. They were just in your imagination. Plus, we would never make an episode like that. DreamWorks wouldn't allow us to make an episode like that. It would be too sad and it would make people cry.
Me: Oh. Okay. Thank you so much. Laila Lockhart: Aww, no problem sweetie. Here just hold my hand. Me: Okay Laila Lockhart. So, I grabbed Laila Lockhart's hand to calm myself down. But then, I noticed she sounded just like Gabby from Gabby's Dollhouse. Me: Wow. Laila Lockhart, you sound like Gabby. Laila Lockhart: I know. Me: Are you the actor of Gabby from Gabby's Dollhouse?
Laila Lockhart: Yeah. I am. How did you know? Me: I have been watching Gabby's Dollhouse since I was 3. I really enjoy watching your show. It's my favorite cartoon. Laila Lockhart: Oh wow that's very nice honey. Me: Where are my Parents? Doctor: I really hate to say this but, your parents never existed. Me: What?! What do you mean?!
Doctor: Your parents died 10 years ago. You never got a chance to meet them. Just after you were born, they went to a party and Laila Lockhart took care of you until they returned. But unfortunately, she got bad news that your parents were rushed to the trauma center but they were pronounced dead shortly after they arrived.
Then, a few months after they passed away, you fell into a coma. So, you were rushed to the hospital. I'm really sorry kiddo. But as soon as the doctor said this, I started crying and breathing heavily. Me: what!? How does this even happen. Laila Lockhart: Honey, it's alright sweetheart. I will take care of you once you get out of the hospital.
Me: But what about the times I passed out. I thought Gabby helped me through that? Doctor: No kiddo, once you were in the emergency room, you collapsed due to low blood sugar, so we rushed you to the ICU.
But you were still in your coma. Me: So, None of what I experienced was real? Doctor: No all of those little Gabby's Dollhouse episodes that you experienced were not real. They were just in your imagination.
Me: what! What about Gabby's Funeral? I was crying for over an hour because Gabby died from brain cancer. Doctor: You were crying because you were having a nightmare in your coma. We had to yell for you over and over until you finally woke up.
Me: Wow. Laila Lockhart: I know that it's a bit startling waking up from a nightmare loop while in your coma and not knowing where you are. I was so worried about you. I thought that you weren't gonna wake up. I'm just glad you did. Me: I really don't want to go through that again. I was trembling in fear after the horrific experience. Laila Lockhart: Aww, I'm pretty sure you won't. You don't need to be scared honey. I'm right beside you honey.
Me: Okay Laila Lockhart. Laila Lockhart wrapped her arms around me to help me calm down. Laila Lockhart: How about after you get out of the ICU, maybe we could go back home and watch some Gabby's Dollhouse. Would you like that honey? Me: Yeah. That would be great. Laila Lockhart: Okay Honey sounds good. Laila Lockhart then kissed me again. Laila Lockhart: I love you honey. Me: I love you too.
Laila Lockhart: I'm really sorry that you had to go through this honey. Me: I just hope something like this doesn't happen again. Laila Lockhart: Yeah. Me too sweetie. Laila Lockhart then kissed me again. And So, I spent the next 3 weeks in the ICU until my condition improved and I was free to go.
So, Laila Lockhart took me back to her house and I got all of my stuff Moved into her bedroom and I spent the rest of my life with The Netflix star of Gabby's Dollhouse Laila Lockhart.
