Simon's body was shaking with fear as he looked into Baz's eyes and Simon's eyes were wide open. Baz could see the terror filling Simon's eyes. Baz's eyes weren't grey as they usually were Simon had noticed this. They were a pure blood red with only tints of grey in them. Simon moved his hand across the bed where Baz's was and grabbed his hand and placed it on Simon's chest. Baz's eyes slowly turned grey again as he looked down at his hand intertwined in Simon's. Baz shifted his body closer to Simon's. Simon's eyes were normal again and a little bit more blue than usual. Baz grabbed Simon's other hand and intertwined it with his pale fingers. Simon looked up into Baz's dark red eyes. "i'm sorry", Baz said.
