ANNOUNCER: Could everyone clear the water, please?
*I notice Ari coming out of the water with his surfboard but I stay next to Bodhi, Poppy, and Marlon so him and Summer can have their moment together*

SUMMER: Hi.
*She slowly starts walking toward him as I notice a blonde walk around her and wrap a towel around Aris neck as I give a weird but confused look to Bodhi*

*She kisses him*
????: How was practice? Sorry I couldn't get away from the signing.
ARI: Um... Wren... This is Summer
*Wren looks at her smiling*

*She walks up to Summer and hugs her.. (well she seems nice i think) I notice Summer hug back slightly and awkwardly respond*

*She walks back to Aris side*

ARI: You and Jade realize today is the finals, right?
SUMMER: No, I know we applied online for a wildcard spot and we both sent some clips in! Im about to go get Jade so we can check with the selectors. Should be fine, they'll love us.
ANNOUNCER: Under 18's this is your 15-minute warning.
*Me and Wren walk back over smiling and giggling as she goes back next to Ari*

*Summer smiles and blushes*

POPPY: Meh. The usual. Comps and training. But Bodhi's got someone on the go!
*Poppy says slapping her shoulder softly as I laugh*

JADE: Well we didn't know the dates got changed for one, and at first we both agreed it was to be closer to you guys, but we think we might actually love it.
POPPY: Don't all the beaches near you guys suck?
SUMMER: Yeah, they did we just kept going back.

*The siren blares*
ANNOUNCER: Heat 1 competitors, please head to the pool.
BODHI: Alright. Gotta get out there.

ANNOUNCER: Here we go, by the end of today, four girls and four boys will be selected for the State team.
*Bodhi and 3 other people go to the part of the pool where the waves form and wait sitting on their boards*
WITH MANU, ARI, POPPY, AND MARLON
MANU: Ay. This teams gonna be all Shorehaven, baby. Let's go!
ARI: Hey, Poppy said you might be the State team coach. Is that rumor or true-mour?
MANU: Well, selectors are considering it. So, fingers crossed, baby. Fingers crossed!
MARLON: Oi. I hope you get it, bro. Then you can make Poppy captain again.
POPPY: Ay! Sometimes nepotism is the smart choice.
*Griff says from a little further away from the group*
GRIFF: I think we all know who's gonna be captain, Pops.

*I laugh as we continue to watch the people surf*

SUMMER- THEY DECLINED MY APPLICATION! COME NOW.
JADE: Shit, guys I'll be back.
*I run over and see Summer*

JADE: Your just gonna decline our applications?
