Movie night (Tanjiro Kamado X Reader)

You sat next to Nezuko watching a movie she chose while painting her nails a beautiful ombre. It was you and Nezuko in one area of the university dorm and Tanjiro on the other end, each with your own rooms and one common room.

"Look at these!" Nezuko smiled, showing her older brother, Tanjiro, her nails.

"Wow, that looks so professional." Tanjiro complimented. "It looks really, really good."

"I think you should paint your nails too." You commented, trying to hide you laugh. It was initially a joke. However, the more you thought about Tanjiro with black and plum nails...

"Oh my god, please!" Nezuko cheered. Tanjiro agreed afterall he wasn't one of those insecure guys who felt anything not typically done by men threatened their masculinity.

So here you sat with Tanjiro's hand on your knee as you sat criss-cross on the couch. You chose a type of back that looked red in the areas where it reflected light. (Just think of a very romantic goth /vampire type of look)

Afterwards, the two sat waiting for their nail polish to dry, and you applied face masks to all three of you since neither of you had anywhere to go.

"I will go to brush my teeth and then proceed to sleep because I am zombified right now." Nezuko said, yawning.

"You picked the movie, and now you're ditching me." You fake cried. "Oh, the betrayal!"

"Yeah, yeah, if you get scared, just jump on 'Jiro."

"At least she has me. You're the one dating Zenitsu." Tanjiro said, making you laugh, and Nezuko couldn't help but laugh too.

So what if Nezuko went up and you were left alone with Tanjiro. It was never awkward. Besides, no one knew about your tiny, micro practically non-existent crush on him.

"That's so stupid. The killer is obviously her." You complained.

"I thought it was the Michael Jackson looking guy."

"Hey Michael Jackson-looking or not, the guys hot. No way he did anything wrong." You argued, making Tanjiro laugh.

"Mhm, I thought you were going to use his past to defend him." He teased.

"Hey, he had a hard life." You teased.

Eventually, the movie ended, and Tanjiro got a call from his mother asking how his day was, and he updated her, letting her know Nezuko was fine. He took the call in the kitchen since you fell asleep, and he didn't want to wake you. He eventually returned seeing you fast asleep, and so he decided to carry you to bed.

After tucking you in, he was sure he heard you call him, so he turned back around.

"What was that?" He asked only to get his response.

"Ngh, Tanjiro."

"Huh."

"Right there."

Face immediately flushing he didn't know if he heard correctly. You just moaned his name in your sleep. He immediately walked out of the room, refusing to infringe on your privacy any further.

The last thing he did before going to bed was Google one thing that kept running on his mind...
