Desperate for help and unable to rouse the sleeping guards, i was relieved when the door finally creaks open. Standing before me was a maid, her striking appearance catching you off guard. She had short, straight orange hair, secured by a black headband, and her light green eyes gazed at me with curiosity.
She stood around 5 feet tall, her black and white maid outfit adorned with socks. Her peach-colored skin was unblemished, except for a diamond-shaped mark on her right cheek, which added to her unique charm.
With a calm and composed demeanor, the maid looked into my eyes, awaiting an explanation for my frantic arrival. It was a strange encounter in the midst of the forest, leaving me with even more questions about this mysterious place and its inhabitants.
"Hello, little one. What are you doing here?" The maid's voice was soothing, offering a moment of comfort in my frantic ordeal.
"I need help. Someone is trying to get me," i explained briefly, my voice trembling with fear and exhaustion.
"Who?" She asked, her gentle gaze never leaving me.
"I don't know," i replied, looking at her with a mixture of desperation and confusion.
She hummed thoughtfully and then, with a kind smile, wrapped a warm towel around you. "Come now, little one. We shall talk with the headmaster about your situation. You're safe here," she reassured me, guiding me further into the enigmatic school, where answers to my questions and refuge from my pursuers might finally be found.
As i entered the building, the contrast between the chilly forest night and the warmth inside was palpable. The cold breeze that had sent shivers down your spine was replaced by a welcoming heat that began to thaw your freezing body. It was a relief to be in a place that offered refuge from the harsh elements.
Amidst this newfound warmth, i couldn't help but sneeze, a reminder of how cold and wet i have become during my frantic escape through the forest. The sound echoed through the quiet building, breaking the silence and drawing the attention of the maid who had been assisting you.
She turned to you with a caring expression. "You've had quite the ordeal," she said softly. "Let's get you dried off and warmed up. The headmaster will be able to help you further." With that, she guided you further into the school, where your journey for answers and safety continued.
The maid's gentle grip on your hand provided a comforting anchor as she led you through the quiet and seemingly lifeless halls of the school. The eerie silence hung in the air, broken only by the soft echo of our footsteps. It was as if the building itself held its breath, enveloping an atmosphere of mystery and uncertainty.
My gaze wandered to the windows along the corridor, where i observed that the rain had gradually subsided, leaving behind a soft drizzle that added to the surreal atmosphere of the moment. Focusing on the rain-splattered glass helped ease some of the anxiousness that had taken hold of you.
After what seemed like a long but strangely calming walk, we (the maid and I) ascended four flights of stairs until we reached the headmaster's office. As we entered the office, we were greeted by an odd-looking man whom hunched over a desk, engrossed in writing. The room was in disarray, with various papers scattered all over the floor, adding to the enigmatic aura of the place.
Our arrival seemed to startle the man, who looked up with an inquisitive expression as he set aside his writing. It was clear that this meeting with the headmaster would bring me closer to unraveling the mysteries surrounding this strange school in the middle of the forest.
The exchange between the maid and the headmaster was a puzzling one. I couldn't help but feel like an outsider caught in a strange and surreal situation.
