Arriving on the second floor, Rita felt a mix of anticipation and nervousness as she entered the student council room, her hand firmly clutching Professor Evergreen's. The room had an air of secrecy about it, with the large table in the center surrounded by council members and the principal sitting in the shadows. A projector beamed a video onto the table, casting eerie, flickering light throughout the otherwise dark room.

"Hello sir I brought-" Mr. Evergreen started when the headmaster interrupted.

"OUT! OUT! OUT!" He shouted while pelting books at the vice principal! "OUT! OUT! OUT!" He continued.

Rita was taken aback by the headmaster's sudden outburst, and she watched as he bombarded Mr. Evergreen, with books. It was an unexpected and somewhat comical display, albeit unsettling. Mr. Evergreen tried to explain that he had brought Rita to see the headmaster, and the situation calmed down as the headmaster addressed her. Quickly, Rita made her way to the headmaster, still puzzled by the eccentricities of the school staff. The chaotic encounter with Mr. Evergreen left her feeling bewildered.

Mr. Evergreen calmly walks out of the room and Shania cleans up the mess that headmaster Monty causes.

"So Rita, this is everyone in the school council. You know Dominic Wolf, that's Aya Usagi, Antonio Graves, Felix Squirrel, Alec Hawkins, Paula Bear, Ash Avery, and lastly Tenka O'Dile."

I waved at them. "Nice to meet you all." They waved back.

The school council members acknowledged Rita's greeting with smiles and waves of their own. They seemed like a diverse and interesting group of individuals, each with their own unique characteristics. Rita couldn't help but feel curious about the role they played in this mysterious school.

Headmaster Monty continued, "Now, Rita, you requested to talk to me so here I am. Please, take a seat and tell me what's on your mind."

He gestured towards an empty chair, indicating that Rita should sit down. Sitting down, Rita looks at the ground before looking at the headmaster.

"When will I be able to find a home?" I asked with curiosity.

"I called all the families I know who need a child and well.. since you're a foreigner.. nobody wants you." headmaster monty spoke with a hint of sadness.

With sad eyes, i questioned headmaster monty "Headmaster, why can't you adopt me?"

The student council members tried to stifle their laughter as Rita made her bold request to the headmaster. Headmaster Monty, on the other hand, appeared quite surprised and taken aback by her question. Shania, standing nearby, couldn't help but chuckle at the situation.

After a brief pause, Headmaster Monty regained his composure and replied, "Rita, I appreciate your suggestion, but I'm afraid it's not as simple as that. As the headmaster, I have many responsibilities to the school and its students. Adopting a child is a significant personal commitment, and it wouldn't be fair to you or the school if I were to take on that role. However, I assure you that we are actively working on finding a suitable home for you."

Rita nodded understandingly, though she couldn't hide a hint of disappointment. The headmaster continued, "In the meantime, you will be under the care of our staff members, including Mr. Spitzer and Mr. Evergreen. They will ensure you are well taken care of. Is there anything else you'd like to discuss or any questions you have?"

Rita thought for a moment before shaking her head. "No, Headmaster. Thank you for your help and for giving me a place to stay."

Headmaster Monty smiled kindly and said, "You're very welcome, Rita. If you ever need anything or have any concerns, don't hesitate to reach out to me or the school staff. We're here to support you."

With that, the meeting concluded, and Rita was guided out of the student council room by Shania. She couldn't help but wonder what her future held in this mysterious school filled with magic and secrets.
