F. First Burn

The reader finds out her husband, Eren has been cheating on her

The kids were at their Uncle Zeke's house as me and Eren relaxed at home, watching TV on the couch. I had to go to the bathroom, so I got up and walked to the bathroom. That's when I got a notification on Instagram. I opened it up and it was a message from Jean

Jean: Hey, this account just came up in my suggested friends. *random username*

I clicked on the username and it showed a photo of Eren and some random girl, there were posts but I couldn't see them. I could immediately tell my account had been blocked. I felt my blood boiling

Me: Don't tell me this is what I'm thinking it is

Jean: *2 photos sent*

My body seething as I looked at the photos. He was with another girl, and not only was he with another girl but the latest photo was from this week. I was filled with rage. I turned off my phone and left it in the bathroom. I walked out and into our bedroom. I opened my beside drawer and pulled out my lighter. Then I went into our closet and pulled out a box where we had both stashed photos of us together. I lit the box on fire and watched it burn. Smoke began to fill the room as the box burned

I fell in love with you at first sight. I knew you'd be the one I spent the rest of my life with. You told me you would. I thought you would. The fire alarm went off as I walked out of our bedroom. Eren looked at worried

"What's going on? Is there a fire?!" Eren asked worriedly as he got up and approached me. I gave him a glare as I couldn't stand the sight of him. I didn't respond to him and I began taking photos of us off the walls and shattering the frames of the photos

"What the hell are you doing?!" Eren asked as he grabbed my arm. I yanked my arm away from him

"Get the fuck away from me! How dare you?!" I yelled at him. He was acting dumb as if he didn't know what this was about

"What's this about, honey.. Did my ex contact you again? Even after 12 years she's still trying to ruin my life.. You know I love you, and only you.." Eren said. My eyes were wide as I stared at him with pure hatred. I then slapped him across the face

"How can you lie so blatantly to me?! Do you really think I'll believe that?! I saw your fucking account Eren! The one that you blocked me from seeing!" I yelled at him. His eyes went wide before he looked at me with sincerity in his eyes

"Baby it's not what it looks like. She means nothing" He told me

"You can't talk your way out of this! As if I would fucking fall for that! Do you think I'm stupid?! We're fucking through! That box of ours is probably ash by now" I said. Eren's eyes widened as he ran into the bedroom before he stopped

"W-What did you do?" He asked as his voice cracked

"I burned our photos.. It's just I've learned so much about you in the last 10 minutes that I don't even know who you are" I said

"Baby you're overreacting, stop it" He pleaded with me

"I'm overreacting?! You posted photos with some random bitch! You basically told everyone that you were cheating on me while I took care of our kids! And for what?! To get your dick sucked?!" I screamed at him

"It's not like that! She's just a friend!" He yelled back

"You have ruined our marriage! And don't act like this hasn't happened before! I still remember the way you looked at your ex on our wedding day" I said. Eren groaned

"Oh my fucking God! You're gonna bring that up again?! It was 10 years ago! Jesus Christ! Let it go! It was one time!" He yelled

"One time? One time?! Oh please! Don't even fucking start with me! For years I watched you flirt with other women in front of my face! For years! But I believed in you and thought you were just being nice, but I was wrong! You were probably just waiting to go on and fuck them once I left, right?!" I yelled. Eren grabbed my arms

"Knock it the fuck off! Do you even hear yourself?! You sound crazy! Stop being so jealous and controlling!" He yelled at me. I removed myself from his grip

"Jealous?! Controlling?! Oh my fucking God!" I screamed as I walked back into our shared room and began packing my stuff into a suit case

"Stop! Can't we just talk this out?!" Eren asked

"No I'm leaving, I think I may kill you if I stay" I said

"You can't leave! What about our kids?!" He asked. I froze before I looked at him

"Oh?! Now you wanna think about our kids?! I wonder how they'll react when they find out their father is a fucking dirty cheater!" I screamed as I kept packing

"Enough! Don't drag them into our fight!" He yelled

"How can I not?! You are gonna cause their entire world's to fall apart! You threw it all away because you couldn't keep it in your pants!" I yelled

"You aren't gonna tell them anything!" He threatened. I felt my myself heaving in anger

"You're right! I won't because you will! You'll explain to them why mommy and daddy are getting a fucking divorce!" I screamed

"Why are you being such a bitch about it?!" He yelled before he slapped me. His eyes immediately went wide as he realized what he had done. My hand went up to my cheek as I froze, processing what just happened

"Y/n, I didn't.." Eren said immediately regretting what just happened

"The next time you see me, we'll be in court" I spoke before I finished packing and left
