Aaron and I walked to the ice cream shop to get our milkshakes
─ Good afternoon, couple, what would you like? - the woman asked, handing us a menu
─ A vanilla milkshake with strawberry syrup - I ordered, looking away from the menu
─ And a chocolate one with cookies - Aaron added
─ Got it, you can sit and wait - she replied
─ Thank you - I said with a friendly smile, handing the money to the lady
─ What are we going to do next? - Aaron asked, taking a seat at a table in the shop
─ How about the park? - I suggested
─ Sounds good to me
─ Afterward, we can go to the cliff to watch the sunset - I said, looking at the boy
─ Here's your order, enjoy! - the waitress said, handing us the milkshakes
Aaron and I chatted as we made our way to the park. When we were almost there, we heard someone calling our names
─ Nat, Aaron, wait up!
─ Oh, hey, Andy - I said as Goldfarb ran up to us.
─ What are you guys doing here? - Aaron asked
─ I was just taking a walk and saw you here
─ Nice - I said, tossing my milkshake cup into the trash.
─ What are you up to? - Aaron asked.
─ We were heading to the park - I replied.
When we arrived at the park, Andy stayed and chatted with us. I didn't mind Andy hanging out with us for the rest of the day, but today, I wanted to be alone with Aaron. I couldn't tell Andy that, though. When the sun began to set, we decided to head to the cliff. Arriving there, we spent about ten minutes watching the sun slowly set
─ Wait, did you guys come here to kiss? Sorry, Aaron, I didn't know you were on a date. I'll head home! - Andy said, getting up and leaving.
─ Well, that happened... - Aaron began.
─ The afternoon wasn't entirely ours, but we still got to be together - I said as Aaron approached.
Just as we were about to kiss, my phone vibrated in my pocket. It was Emma, sending me a message telling me to come home because Lydia's family was having dinner at our place
─ Sorry, Aaron, I need to go. Lydia's family is having dinner at our house.
─ That's okay, my mom will pick me up shortly. Need a ride?
─ No, thanks. See you tomorrow - I said, giving the boy a quick peck on the lips.
─ Until tomorrow, Nat! - he shouted as I walked away due to the distance.
