FRENEMIES IN LOVE

CHAPTER THREE

A couple of weeks passed and things were going smoothly for the gang. Joe got a new phone again, Alfred met the girl of his dreams in school and was hitting it well with her, Marvelous and his girlfriend talked out the issues they had due to the long distance and got on cool terms, and Timmy started to exhibit his true character which is stubborn, juvenile and funny, he became careless and a bit annoying but in the good way.

One Wednesday Morning, Sal got sick and had to stay back from attending classes, he had the flu and didn't want anyone else getting it from him. His friends assisted him to get drugs from the school's health care, getting him food and putting him to bed. They eventually left him because they had classes to attend but they made sure he was tucked in as well as they could before they left.
Joe, Marvelous and Alfred left first as they were not having lectures with the first-class students; they were transferred students so they were in a higher level, they were second year engineering students and Marvelous was a law student so he wasn't going to move with the rest of them. After 2 hours, the first-year students had just finished their first lecture of that day at the lecture hall IV in the school. The gang sat scattered while the lecture was on in the lecture hall and were now regrouping to head out to the Chemistry Laboratory for their next class.

Timmy was seated at the back. He had just finished packing his books back into his bag and was about standing up and head to the front to meet up with the rest of the gang then he heard from behind. "Timmy, right?" In a familiar voice. He turned his focus and found Mary and Samuella sitting behind him.

"Oh, hello." Timmy responded

"Hi" Samuella said

"How are you girls doing?" Timmy asked

"We're fine thanks" Samuella replied

"I'm not fine" Mary interjected

"Oh, what happened?" Timmy asked

"I'm tired" Mary cried

"By this time? It's still morning, you know right?" Timmy laughed

"Yes, I’m still tired" Mary replied

"She doesn't like sleeping early, that's her problem" Samuella added

"At that, it means you didn't sleep early last night and woke up early for class today, right?" Timmy asked

"Exactly!" she explained

"Sorry, take heart" Timmy apologized

"You are also going for the chemistry class, right?" Samuella asked

"Yeah, I am" Timmy replied

"Let's walk together then" Mary proposed

"Em, my friends are actually waiting for me" Timmy implied

"Oh" Samuella sighed in disappointment. "Alright"

"Or...there's no need, I'll see them at the lab" Timmy assumed. "Let's go."

"Alright, good. Let's go" Mary said.

Timmy, Mary and Samuella walked to the chemistry lab together leaving Timmy's friends waiting back at the hall. After waiting a long while and not finding Timmy, they assumed he had gone somewhere else so they decided to called him over the phone.

"Hello" Timmy spoke over the phone

"Hey man, where are you?" Alfred asked

"In front of the Chemistry lab" Timmy replied

"What the hell man!" Alfred yelled. "You kept us waiting at the hall since" he added

"Sorry bro, I thought you guys would have left" Timmy pleaded
