Mail Delivery||short horror story||

what the hell?

This one is a shorter one :>
Idk I just feel like it(also this is the third day Lauren has been delivering packages) (also will wood go brrrrrr)

After a few days of delivering I think this job is going well. Today there weren't many packages to deliver, so it was a short day

I was about to head back to my apartment when something caught my eye

My apartment was near the woods and today I just noticed there was a big house there, huh

I don't know why I haven't noticed this house before.

I wanted to mind my business but for some reason my curiosity got the better of me and I ended up exploring the house. It looked... fine? It mostly resembled Manor's from the 1800's

I also noticed that the house looked abandoned, well that made me even curious to check it out. I walked around the house for a bit before stopping Infront of an open window, I climbed inside and I seemed to be inside the living room, it was dusty as hell and there were alot of raccoon and rat droppings on the floor

But, the living room also looked.. modern? I guess I could say that. There was an old tv with it's screen smashed to bits. There was also a fire place that had alot of cobwebs

I walked around the house a bit, exploring the first floor. Nothing was interesting. It was just a house that looked old but looked new in the inside

I then made my way to the second floor and I noticed there was only a hall that leaded to one room. I walked down the hall and made my way to the room, opening the door and stepping inside

The room didn't looked untouched, actually, it looked like someone was just recently there. It was a very.. uh.. colorful room. It had psychedelic wallpapers and there were some musical instruments.

A piano, trumpet, trombone, drums, bass, saxophone and guitar

A band owned this place maybe?

I looked around the around the room again and noticed a tv, it looked brand new. There was also a VHS player and a VHS tape on the table to the side of the tv with '222' written on the tape

I got curious and decided to set the VHS player up and I inserted the tape in and turned on the tv

It started to play a video of eight men goofing around playing their instruments before it began playing a music video. It had alot of psychedelic imagery and it overall almost fried my brain.

It was captivating for some reason.

While the video was still playing it started showing one of the guys holding someone hostage and stabbing them in the throat alot of times before cutting off to the other guys still playing their instruments

I was taken aback but I still continued watching the video. It was normal if I can say that, but it occasionally cut tosomeone who I assumed to be the lead singer, killing people.

When the tape ended, I took a moment to process everything

"Yeah, I'm definitely getting murdered" I said to myself as I turned around and went to left the house

Surprisingly I didn't get murdered, but I'm probably cursed now.

I got to my apartment and immediately went to my room, I lied down on the bed and began to drift off to sleep, but for some damn reason the video kept playing from earlier. Yeah I'm definitely cursed

I suddenly woke up to the sounds of church bells ringing. Weird.. it isn't even sunday

I then heard the sounds of children laughing

Oh hell no. Okay, well. Shit. I'm in some horror movie now am I? What's next? I get up and get scared to death by a doll? Might as well kill myself now

I tried to sit up but for some reason I couldn't move. Oh great, sleep paralysis. Hope there aren't any demons this time

I closed my eyes and just stayed there. I could feel something was hovering over me while I closed my eyes, but I didn't dare open them. After a while the feeling went away and I continued sleeping
